Thats why you need to mix your soil right with the right amount of perlite, so it allows good air flow.Also you will know when you over water your plants, they will get droopy and look sad.

Its just like all the other soils just a different brand I would assume yes.

Just added a couple more cfl lights.

Gives me 206 watts got a bagseed and NL in there.
got another 54 watts for when my king gets here.

I read that. It;s a interesting opinion. My water comes out the faucet 1,000 PPM plus so I wont be using Tap Water anytime soon.

No, roots organic already has a good ratio of perlite....adding more will only dilute the nutritional value of the soil......I use roots,both mixes the regular and 707 mix.....some pineapple kush in roots and a broccoflower in roots....you can see how much perlite it has already in it

Hey I didnt even know that but I have yet to purchase a bag of soil for growing... All H20 baby!

I been running my lights 24/0 wondering if I should switch it to 20/4 or 18/6 now that its working on its 4 th set? Was going to stay @ 24/0 and am now not sure to damn many opinions.what about you guys what do you veg under and your light pattern

Thanx.......adding perlite used to be more common in older horticultural practices in earlier times since a lot of soil didn't have any perlite.....it became very common practice....so many growers used to recommend adding perlite to your soil mixes but now a days most potting soil has a decent ratio of perlite already added...I actually wish it didn't have any for the same price.....that way I can add my own and have more soil.... perlite is cheap : )

During the hotter days I run 18/6.....during the cooler months I run 24/7....I really don't choose these lights schedules because of growth but because of temps....any schedule will work fine....
