GEt a big light like at least a 400 watt HID then the wait should pay off.

it depends, there is actually a bigger return (over time) with smaller, more numerous plants.

Ok fella.... Veg time depends on strain. To tall and you got problems ie. Small under growth and burned tops. Once you know what it stretches like in flower you will have a better understanding of the strain. Most strains double to triple height in first 3 weeks in flower. You want a good root base formed in veg.before flowing. Flower time depends on strain. See the pattern. Most strains go 8-10 weeks. After flush you wait for ripening or tricome decay to be wine red. Soil veg is 3-5 weeks.dro veg time is 2-4 weeks. This its from rooted clone. Time could be longer or shorter depends on grower's needs. Seed veg time is 3 months or so. Hope this helps. Hit me up if you need.

its more like 9 weeks if you flush, which you should, the 8/9/12 weeks on the seed pack refers to the feed schedule. it does not include the time for flushing. very few plants are 6 weekers, and even at 8 weeks you have premature plants with underdeveloped resin glands.. its like the difference between picking up girls at a vegas club or a twilight matinee..

Its 6 motavation, planning on getting thm into 50 litre pots eventually .. & the lighting setup is 1 600 watt hps to every 2 plants, so basically i'd imagine tht'll give each plant 300 watts wen all lights r up.

2 months veg then, as long as you can handle the height.

(would shorten the veg if you used the 600 from the start)

depends on individual strain and what you would like to produce from each plant per cycle imo. in theory, you could keep a plant in veg indefinitely ex. mother plants to clone from. shorter veg time can mean less yield, however, you get product in a shorter amount of time. as far as flowering, depends on strain and how you want your shit to smoke to get a different kind of high.

Never seen much good come from a 6 week flower, hope you mistyped that one.

As for veg its all strain dependent. Often with leggier plants when you veg longer you end up with more bottom filler (which should be removed before flower) but the same amount of top which is what matters leading to about no gain in final quality weight. Others really need that extra month to build proper bud sites that give more then just popcorn.

Same issue with topping, some plants will produce massive colas from every top they have, others hit a point where more tops start leading to smaller colas and less overall weight in the end (and a lot more trimming work).

Longer veg is usually a good way to increase yield...but not always.

Ive come to learn this one with time.
Also depending on your location and laws some places base charges on NUMBER of plants, others are total plant WEIGHT.
If its number you sholuld tend to the larger but fewer plant side, if its total weight scrog all day. If you're in CA or CO.......

right on you judge ripeness by looking at the trichomes. You cant just take a strain and say oh im going to flower for six weeks most strains take 8 to ten i have some sativa strains from asia they take 12-16 weeks just to flower. you just look at the glands i like to pull when i c about 10 percent amber on some strains i go longer on some i dont let any amber i pull when they are milky white (sativa dom)

if your blooming with 600's in 50liter pots 2 per light thats hmm lets see ... carry the one..23230-=93893....>>>> oh bigger then 10 gallon pots and 20 gallons per 600 watt light im trying to figure a way that you could spread that to make it work or even need that size of pot . if you veged in hydro for 6weeks under 600watt lights 1 for every 2 plants and assuming you had at least 4-8 lights on movers you could transplant into 50 liter totes or pots and finish. but honestly if your asking its cause your takeing a little shot in the dark so here is what i recommend start in solo cups veg for a week transplant into 1 gallon pots have them 4-8 under 600watters veg like that by the end of 2 weeks if you got good root inoculents and molases running with some organic teas etc you will need to transplant go into 10liter pots or 5 gallon buckets and run 2-4 per 600 or thousand watt light good shots.jpglook like this after 6weeks of flower

Just because you veg longer doesnt mean you cant control the height! Supercropping works wonders!! Try it!! The more roots the more fruit!!

Oh and 6weeks in flower, where they do that at?? 8weeks or more for flowering,, I just go by the trichomes..Milky for me is good enough!!

I started out with 8 week plan. Once I started growing I realized it just was not enough time to flower. 9 weeks ends up minimum for me on any. So now I try to spend 2 weeks under t-12 as clones. Then under my t-5's for 5 weeks veg and 2 more week flower under the t-5's. I then repot and move to the flower room for about 7 weeks. This seems to give me the best use of space at present.
