i am running one 1000 watt light
over 7 plants
in a soil-less mixture
using the advanced nutrient line
I am in the 6th week of flower and some new growth is abnormal
the leaves are starting to drastically curl inward
should i be concerned or is this normal?

Might want to flush your medium to get all the salts out of it that can cause lockout, and maybe back off on the nutes a little bit.

yea that could be heat. thats a wicked curl on those leaves. id stay nitrogen abundancy but they are too light colored for that. heat or pH is my guess

Looks like too much nutes to me. Notice the "eagle claw". I would flush with ph'ed water for 24 hours then drop the nutrients back and see how they respond. I think lockout causing deficiencies as well. Do you know what the EC or PPM of the water is? Also, the PH?

I started to have a similar problem early in the plants life, i was sticking to 6.3 on the p.h.
then dropped it down to 5.8 and that fixed the initial problem. now it seems the problem has returned. I have flushed them once with clearex.

Heat could be a reason,Ph issue...Also you say your 6 weeks into flower?..Seems under developed for 6 weeks.
I wasnt able to put these into flower at the appropriate time. instead of them being 18-20 inches tall, i had to wait until they we about 35 inches due to financial restraints
will the extended veg period explain why they are underdeveloped; like it would take longer for everything to come out?

that could be a plausable explanation but bein no expert could not say either way,, pretty ballsy setup 1000 watt for first grow and soil less also, but eh i am sure u will crack it,, as regards to them under achieving i would'nt sweat it so they take a little longer no big deal,, hope it works out for ya as uve done a lot of the hard work now so correcting this curl thing will need to be addressed but if i was a betting man i would bet that u pull this off to the degree of being very happy when all dry n cured !!! peace out !

WAY underdeveloped for 6 weeks, but then again, we don't know the strain...could be a 12 week Sativa
thank you for the welcome.
