I havent made it to the end of the thread to see if anybody checked you yet but i cant take it no more.

You gotta be shitting me,in your own words "there is no excuse for bumping old threads" but you trip all over yourself making excuses for one of the most henous acts a grower could possibly do to a fellow grower.

Since you still argue with your parents & throw hissy fits in their home let me spell it out for you why its so wrong.

In the real world men are answerable for EVERYTHING that flys out of their mouths,not everybody here is sneaking a "stealth" grow in their bedroom closet hoping mom & pop wont find out,for some here its the real deal & men face real prison time for what they do,for some if their caught again they dont come out,ever.

So no its not cool to ever threaten to snitch,for any reason because thats the kinda shit that forces a panic reaction from men who dont play games,hopefully you learn that before you ever meet one of these people in person.

As a mod & member im seriously offended that anybody here at our site did this because i know 1st hand how bad it sucks to loose everything you own & get out with nothing,its wrong end of story.

Why? It was closed and Roast himself re-opened it and edited out what he felt was inappropriate. No need for it to be moved, or I'm sure he would have said something.

just my 2 cents here...

i've noticed that a lot of these flame wars on various websites, including RIU, are nothing more than just kids and immature folk. it happens everywhere, its not any better on every website, cuz there's always that one joker that wants to squeeze a lemon. i mean i've had bad experiences on various forums for various things, even had one here (had a guy jump my shit cuz i was asking about a seed bank he hates for whatever reason) but that hasn't discouraged me from using RIU or other un-named sources for my studies to further my knowledge.

IMHO the best thing to do is to let the little cliques squabble amongst themselves while the rest of us carry on our thing and educate those willing about the wonderful world of cannabis.

I dunno. I find that shit toxic and there is a lot of it on RIU. I've often been reading a long thread for grow info and come across this crap, once it starts it often never goes away like a weeping sore. I stop reading.

More significantly it's not unusual for RIU to drive a newbie away. I've seen this several times recently. Somehow something about the way the noob asks his question provokes an attack by one of the resident assholes here and then it's a cluster fuck with a whole gang putting the boot in almost always ending with the guy leaving.

There's a lot of bullying and nastiness mixed in with some very worthwhile conversations. IMO the mods need to reign this in.
