I can be a prick yes, but I can also admit things and give due credit when it deserves it. For example if you look at my profile I like a lot of comments and when people are growing some dank shit I always throw in my shout outs and give respect.

Look at Brick's profile....he has 0 likes (do you know anyone who doesn't have any likes?) and I can't think of too many instances where he gives credit to someone elses grow. I also can say that I don't the he has ever admitted he was wrong about something when it comes to growing. He is a negative narcissist and I am just pointing that out to everyone b/c everyone thinks he's so brilliant. Really it's a facade and he just googles, copies, and paste.

the difference between people like bricktop and i is that i don't go around praising myself. i'm actually just a mediocre grower and i haven't caught a fish the last 3 times i've gone out.

i dont really remember bricktop praising himself..

dont always agree with him but have learned a thing or 2 from him too.

No, that is not correct, that was not my intention. If I wanted to do that I would have stated a position and then ripped apart anyone who took a different position.

I wanted to see what sort of topical response the articles I posted would bring, and also to see if since they were all conservative articles, how many here would be capable of responding on topic or would instead just make snide comments.

I have not spent much time in the political forum but it did strike me that when a liberal article is posted many members will comment and remain, for the most part, on topic. But when something conservative is posted, often times, the responses seem to show an abjection that the article was even posted. I didn't want my personal opinion to be what might have caused a response. I wanted to see what responses the articles alone would bring.

Members like fds and yourself have pretty much exhibited the sort of response I mentioned when I said how often times it appears there is an objection to something conservative even being posted. If that were not the case a response to the article would have been formulated and then the person would have asked me what my position is.

it's not the conservative idea being posted that i object to as much as the manner in which is it is posted.

What does someone like an economist do when they write an article about economics? They include their qualifications to establish credibility. To show the readers that there is a valid reason for them to accept what they are reading. You see people left and right give advice here, but you never know if they are qualified to advise anyone. You have no idea how long they have grown, what their level of experience is or if they have any horticultural knowledge or not. I mention mine now and then for the purposes of credibility, not to brag as some attempt to portray it.
