I am new to growing and have been slowly making it through the different strains available. I was wondering why Doggy Nuts are so pricey?

They claim to have all the original genetics of all the strains they use. So they claim to have the original/best northern lights, northern lights x haze, g13 x haze etc...I am new to growing and have been slowly making it through the different strains available. I was wondering why Doggy Nuts are so pricey?
I've never seen anyone finish it to full potential but the early signs looked promising. The closest thing I've seen is Pukka Seeds (same company as Doggie's Nut's) Armageddon and the guys that grow that seem to like it a lot.
