Damp-rid users help!

So my grow room is giving me humidity problems during my flowering stage. when i turn the lights on for the start of the 12on i notice that the humidity is around 60-63% and within an hour or two of the lights/fans running i can get it down to as low as 50% but it averages around 55-58% humidity.

I have huge bushy plants and i REALLY dont want mold later on in flowering (most of plants are only a few days past showing their first pistils)

I want to use damp-rid but im unsure as to which damp-rid products i should be using to fix the problem in my grow room. its size is 8x10ft.

amazon's website turns up over 100 options when i search damp-rid.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=damp+rid&x=0&y=0

which combo of damp-rid products should i use? i plan on using however many i need. help from someone experienced with this product/problem would be appreciated.

anyone? this is kind of important! theres so many options for damp-rid im not sure which one (or ones) i should get?

im hoping for something refillable or something but im not sure which one(s) i need and how many of them. id like to get humidity down to the 40-49% range for piece of mind.

you need a dehumidifier then, you won't move it down enough with that stuff.
i dont see why not. there has to be some other method than blowing $200+ for something i'll use for 2-3 months out of the year. here humidity only get high for a short time period. i'd like to get it down by some other means. im using a window a/c unit, 3 fans plus one in the ceiling (regular ceiling fan). While im standing in the flower room there is a constant breeze no matter where you stand in the room.

If i can get it down to as low as 50% with just that im sure there must be something i can use besides a humidifier to knock it down the additional 10%.

Besides im already drawing about as much power as i comfortably can with the equipment im running already (which doesn't include whats going on in my veg room where im sucking enough electricity already).

I dont mean to sound cheap but i can't justify the purchase (ie 200 for something i wont use more than 1/4 of the year)

if not damprid then what? ive heard about silica gel and calcium chloride but im not sure how much that will how or what type of substance i will need or what.

my temps are 78-80 all the time during lights on. humidity gets high during lights off (63% on avg).

How long can i go in flowering before this humidity will cause problems? i assume i can go at least until buds start forming (instead of scattered pistils).

you can buy the little buckets at the grocery store or at home depot and buy the bag of replacement cystals. not sure how many you will need but I would put them around the base of plants. just remember to check them every day and empty out excess liquid in the bottom of the bucket.

so you can just buy the empty container the crystals go in and the crystals themselves and fill it up? thats how i thought it worked but with all the different kinds i seen on amazon i figured they all worked differently and didnt know which would be best for my space.

Im pretty sure i'll get a few to start...between 2-4 maybe.

have you used them? how well do they work?

Well the buckets come with a packet of crystals to get you started, but you'll burn through that in a couple days lol.
I used them in my last closet grow and they worked pretty well. I would put them down right before they went to bed and by the time I work up there was lots of water in the bottoms.

Hey man. I am a maintenance man and use damp rids on the daily. What you will want to get is a gallon bucket of damp rid. It says on the box how much area it will dehumidify. I think the biggest one will do you right. Just make sure you read the directions first and don't remove the film in the bucket. Crystal residue will get every where!!!STAY HIGH!!!
