Extra aeration in soil

Ok everyone I have an idea not sure if it's been done before but here it goes. What if a guy were to take a air pump and get about 2 feet of 1/4 inch tubing. Plug off 1 end of the tubing hook the other end to the air pump. Drill several holes every 6 inches in the tubing. Then when one gets ready to fill there pots with soil try to route the tubing all around in the soil so that the roots get an extra boost of oxygen. Am I on to something or would it fail

Do u know of anyone who tried this if so good yields the only downfall I see is the air drying the soil out more and jyst having to water more often

nope never heard of anyone trying it. Those aero pots are all the rage now though (no, I've never used them)

The pots I use are made out of mesh they breath really well I wander if the extra air would affect the microbes and bacteria in a positive way
