.5 watt diodes suck...not worth it...you are better off getting a 250watt HPS than running that thing...check out http://hgtsupply.com for equipmentso heres what i thought about investing on my next go around with this

The 3 and now 6watt diode systems give the penetration needed...you will see LED technology surpass what HID's can do, but yeah they are expensive, but they last alot longer...so you don't have to buy new bulbsive always wanted to try LED but theyre dang expensive and ive heard alot of people say they dont give the yeild yet
Aye those are the higher wattage CFL's lowes carries...i saw some there the other day...they give further penetration which is what you are looking for if you are going to go with CFL's...you keep these about 2-3" from the plants surface..you need about 2 of these per plant minimum, 4 would be awesome...you can definitely get some bud from the current lights you've got + 4 of thoseI was also just given this link and buy like 4 of em

HID is high intensity discharge, so high pressure sodium or ceramic metal halideim sorry HID forgive me what does that mean
Where's the LED system that can grow better/more nugs than my 1000w HPS? I must have missed it..........you will see LED technology surpass what HID's can do
naw that thing is junk...its fine if you want to grow some basil or something...but definitely not for growing weed
