Need some help to achieve my goal

I want to do a room 6x10 with 3 600 watt lights running, I am going to grow in 5gal pots with soil. Maybe 20 plants or so. My goal is to pull 4lbs at the end of the run. I've grown a bit outdoors but this will be my first time around indoors. Have any advise on strains that are potent but nice yielding also? Any advise to help me achieve my goal would be greatly appreciated.
thanks bro

Do some reading, then after that do some more reading. Knowledge is power. 20 plants in 5 gals sounds like alot for 6x10. its gonna be crowded. Good luck and good growing

I think you nuts if your planing on hand watering(once there big its a nightmare and your going to need trays for propper run off so you realy need to think bout drippers and rez,,,for all that might as well run ebb n flow table a 3x3 tray per 600 works pretty good for my friends tomatoes(9 plants per tray seems to work good for him)................And yup 1 elbo per light is min target
anything less(your fuckin shit up)!!!

its seems a rule of thumb is 1 pound per light, unless you go DWC that seems to yeild alot, im going that direction soon.20 plants= 7 pr plant is perfect.

I'm cool with 3 elbows out of this. I got res trays that will collect the runnoff from watering, but yes I will be on my hands and knees watering these babies

I just did a TD SOG grow in soil and it's a nightmare once their in first few weeks of flowering. and flushing is even worse nightmare. I also recommend ebb and flow for that route.

IMO

Your better off doing less plants that are larger. say 4-5 plants in 8 or 10 Gallon containers, use a huge yielding strain like Big Bud, or a BB Cross, SLH is suppose to be a producer.

Consider LST and SCROG on these large plants and veg them for 2-4 months depending on how large they need to be to hit your goal. I have seen 10-11 oz. yields per plant with large scrogged plants with less light than your using. I have seen good yield results from the water farm setups too with scrog a 1 lb yield from a single TD.

Best thing you can do is get your room completely dialed in and then go from there. That's the best way to get big yields.

If your not legal then less plants is always better too if the worse happens. Shhh... it's a secret.

No you won't.
You'll start off, and love it. But 20 plants is a lot to water, especially later in flower when they'll drink gallons.
I wouldn't be surprised if you throw in the towel; then again I'm a pretty lazy stoner.

Cheers,

You're gonna need more light to use the whole area. 6x10 with 1800W is only 30W/sq ft. I'd do what was suggested above and use each light for 3x3 tray. Put 4-5 plants on each tray and do a long veg. I also suggest having some automated watering at least.
