not that you can get it, but i'd be happy smoking nothing but fluffy pinecone scented pure columbian gold as it has the best buzz ever. it could get almost as trippy as the weak ass acid trip i took but unlike acid & shrooms, it had a much tripper effect on other senses. acid & shrooms are really clear headed in my limited experience with those, but gold not only messed with your visuals and had laugh your ass off euphoria, but it added an extra level of realism (more like "significance") to music, made junk food taste orgasmic and unlike ANY weed i've smoked since, gave your body the light floaty feeling i'm POSITIVE was the inspiration behind the phrase "getting high" as you literally felt like you were floating on a cloud. oftentimes when you walk, it would feel like you're going downhill and at others, your feet would feel like helium balloons ready to float away in front of you and take you with them. it was just a real treat for the senses. it's the very first thing i started on and i've compared everything since then to that. the next best thing is high quality seeds' haze x skunk. it's even more potent and motivational and probably longer lasting with less tolerance issues, but it's missing some of that sensory overload although i don't do woofing bong hits like i used to and just do bowl hits where i draw some clean air with them too. you gotta take big hits for the biggest effects.
i'd probably pick short stuff's super cali haze as my other desert island strain because it has a delicious grape flavor along with a nice euphoric & more clearheaded buzz that's a little mellower. i'm not 100% sure, but i think mandala's 8 miles high might have a little more of a trippy body buzz going on than haze skunk or super cali haze and maybe more euphoria too. it's more like SCH than HxS though but nothing special in the flavor department.
really, i'd be happy with any ONE of these strains. it's all that stoney cash crap you can't get away from in most markets that i can't stand as none of it gets you high.
if they weren't violently named, i might be inclined to say TGA subcools fast flowering jack the ripper instead of haze skunk as it's lemony flavor sounds nicer than the yucky cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray flavor i didn't care for or sannies' even more violently named killing fields which is suppsed to be extra trippy. those are the two best sounding smokes i've read about that you can pull off indoors, but the gear i have tried isn't shabby and is more than good enough to satisfy this old school pot snob
