Videoman hit the nail on the head there the more C02 the better, Can i ask what are you gonna use to distribute your C02? i'm just using yeast,sugar and water and it seems to be really helping my plants along just curious to see what other growers are doing.

I used that co2 in a bucket, it seemed priced fairly, so I gave it a try. I liked it alot. CO2 Boost - All-natural CO2 Generators for the purpose of CO2 enrichment and air fertilzation.
I have also supplemented with dryice, as I have access to it and can usually get it free, or as a write off. The dry ice is wicked stuff, you'll see tons of growth if done right.

I have a room around 10x10 and have a kerosene lamp i got from walmart for $12.00 oil is $4.00 I let that burn in the room. I get the temp up to 85 and stop the vent but fans on. You can smell it in the air.. smells ok... i had a friend do a test for co2 and was right were u want it. I vent the room a couple of times a day.
I ran out of oil for 4 days, the plants growth seemed to slow.. when i got more oil.. after a day burning I swear the plants were bursting again,,kool.

No idea about that sorry, maybe someone could enlighten me on the correct ppm aswell. Have you used othe methods to get C02 into your grow room or have you just stuck with the lamp? just really interested in what will benefit the plants.

not bad really, a direct delivery system like the home made systems will hardly make a measurable difference, using a co2 tank you want 1500ppm. Normal is about 2-300ppm, so yr 800 is very respectable indeed.

Amen to that! Dunno i might see how my plants respond to reggae lol i have only used the bottle of C02 i want to try and vary my grow options each time i start a new grow to maximise my plants growth hopefully. (if that makes sense)

No. not at all, thats not what I intended to imply. I touched upon the term "direct delivery" because a co2 tank disperses so much co2 that you measure it in ppm, a small homemade system makes small amounts and so little that at times it may be hard to measure.
It still works though, assuming you have placement correct and the co2 falls onto the plant. This can be very effective, and cost efficient too.

Well I highly recommend the co2 bucket, but you can call around to get dryice, if you find a decent place to get it, you'll pay about $16.00 for a 50lb block....however some retailers will try to take advantage of you and charge as much as $60.00 you need to tell them you buy it regularly, and know the real prices. The 50 lb block is good for about 5 days of heavy co2.
