Refrigerator Grow

i got a frig that i was gonna use to grow in a small scale operation just personal consumption. the freezer would be for germinating/cloning/vegging and frig for flower. i have a two foot fluorescent double tube light the bulbs are cool white 20 watts each, i think they are 4100k at 1150 lumens a bulb. also have a GE 26 watt spiral fluorescent at 2700k and 1700 lumens. in the flower chamber i have a 100 watt hps light that is 2100k and 9500 lumens. This is my first set up and first time ever growing can anyone give me some feed back how they think this set up will work. And possibly how much i could grow. i have a white widow female in it now she is 3 weeks old and about 5" tall. its a normal refrigerator with the freezer on top. freezer is around 2 foot wide 2 foot deep and 18 inches tall. frig is around 2 foot wide 2 foot deep and 42 inches tall. Any and all feed back is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea. Post some pics so we can get a better idea. You will need to exhaust the hot air from the 100 watt. I would only put one really nice bush and train that bitch or put maybe 4 smaller ones and train them as well either scrog em or lst. Are you growing in soil or hydro? How will you drain the runoff? Let me know specs please so I can better assist you in your first grow.

yo my friend is growin in a fridge he has a 400 watt hps runnin a home made ebb and flow system with hydroton he crops about 5 ounces every 50 days and its for his personal use. he got the light on top of the fridge and a fan on the side the most important thing to remember is to clear out anything thats rubber and plastic it works though

I have a fridge with a 150w hps and 120w of cfls as side lighting. Heat was an issue but i manage to keep it a 80c during lights on. I used a 4" holesaw and made perfect holes for my intake and outtake.
Your best bet is to scrog a plant or 2.

I have heard of this and have considered trying it myself. I've been told you can get 6 crops avg per yr. I have been told, and I'm no expert, that you can actually make a homemade co2 pump out of an old milk jug, a piece of hose and about 3ft of pvc pipe w/ holes drilled in it. Fill up milk jug with super hot water and dump in a packet of yeast. Attach one end of hose to jug, run it through a hole in fridge, and attach other end to pvc, and cap opposite end of pipe. Has anyone else heard of this method for co2?

Add some sugar to the water, and that is a co2 machine! If you were to run the hose into a small glass of water, you could see the bubbles as it worked. And you will prevent O2 from getting in there. O2 can stop the alcohol fermentation and stop the co2 creation.

Side note, experiment with different sugars and build a small still.(illegal in USA) and distilled your own spirits. Or ferment fruit juices for wines.
