Hi, iv got a split room grow starting(flower and veg) i want to get it running so i will have plants vegged and ready to move straight into flower thus cutting harvest times to every 8 weeks or so, i dont want to have to buy seeds everytime but i know you should only take cuttings from vegging plants, My question is can i take cuttings from my vegging plants this time round (roughly 3 -4 weeks into the cycle) store them somehow(for 3-4 weeks) , wait till my current plants are roughly 3-4 weeks from the chop then plants the clones in the veg room to be vegged and ready for the flower once i have harvested etc

If this can be done would the clones take the same as a fresh seed to get my desired foliage for flower or would i be lookin at a longer time? ant information would be great as i have no idea and/or cant find and information about this?

i just want to get my setup running as smooth and maintainance free as possible

thanks

ummm no you have to plant the cutting soon after you cut it ...
You can actually store cuttings for up to 2ish weeks in a plastic bag in the bottom of your fridge where the veggies go...just spritz them with a little h202 solution then store...Once you are ready to use them take them out, rinse them off in some air temp water, recut the bottom at the 60degree angle, scrape stem, root hormone it, drop it in your cloner of choice...yes you'll have a lower success rate, but it can be done

I keep cutting's in suspended animation as long as I need too.I always take large cuttings as well.Just mild food and a good fluoro to hold them down and they can last a month or more.
