This might be a stupid question but where can do I get Nitrogen from..?
Hahaha I was in your shoes before when I first started growing. You can get Nitrogen from anywhere. Home depot, walmart, Hydro shops. Its a plant based food that you need to feed your plants to maintain vigor etc. I would suggest researching on NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium). Thats what NPK stands for. Too much to explain each. Look around on the Forums about them or google for it and you can accquire tons of information. You Could check out for Nutrient Deficiency.

Check this out for basic information. http://www.aces.uiuc.edu/vista/html_pubs/hydro/symptoms.html

I'm pretty sure I bought fertilizer to put in the water that has Nitrogen (then a number next to it) and two other chemicals I believe. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow. It's like a blue powder or something, I've never actually used it to be honest.. lol

there's no point in feeding a plant individual nutrients like only nitrogen. these plants need over 14 different nutrients to grow so what you need is general plant food. hydroponic grade nutrients would be best but if you have nothing else, go to home depot and buy what they have. It sounds like the food you have will work as well. You're looking for a grow formula with 3 numbers on it. My brand is botanicare cns formula and the ratio is 3-2-4. the numbers equate to 3N (nitrogen), 2P (Phosphorus), 4K (Potassium). Any ratio value in NPK similar to that will help.

I'm sure you know by now that plant is looking like a 2 week old instead of a two month old. The main things all plants need to grow indoors is light, nutrient solution, and air (co2). If you have adequate air circulation, and your computer fan sounds fine, co2 is covered. Feed your plants with your nutrient formula every third or fourth watering and you have nutrients covered. In my opinion, if you're using cfl's or any kind of fluorescent lights they should be about 4 inches away from your plants. I would watch your plants closely to make sure that's not too close as your plants are still fragile.

Hope this helps!

Hey guys, here are the photos I promised. Thoughts?

I am shocked at the amount of growth from this bad boy in just a couple of days... astonishing... I set up a stop action camera, here is the vid if you are interested in watching it: http://f.cl.ly/items/1G2i3F0r2G1b1Y0V0T00/IMG_1542.MOV

Here is the comparison photo: http://f.cl.ly/items/0F2t2m0D3J1o3a1p2E1X/dual.jpg

The note lock thing is back again. Could that be just continuing because it couldn't be stopped from last time? The other plant I have doesn't have a single purple spot... Also should i be worried about those yellow spots?
