Help Me Help Us

please support my petition,
it addresses the whitehouse's response to the earlier cannabis petitions.

it takes 100 votes before it shows up on their site for public viewing so we
have to spread it around and get 100 before it can really take off and get a response.

please check it out and vote and share it if you like it!!!

I signed it. The problem with these petitions though is Obama just seems to ignore them, like he thinks its just a bunch of kids on the internet signing these things.

Sounds like she is saying" Thanks for using the democratic process, some good it will do."

As long as the petition site remains open we have a unique opportunity to speak truth directly to power. They just responded a few days ago to the first round of petitions. New petitions made in response to what they have said will take 30 days before we see if we get further discussion. I'd like to see if they will keep talking.

I understand some are frustrated or otherwise don't want to participate. Also, I know some don't like this approach, fair enough. I do enjoy seeing a new medium to keep the issue of cannabis legalization in the face of the powers that be, and the press that has been generated as a result. Thanks everyone for your time and thanks eagle for signing . :)

Obama is to the federal government what Pawlenty was to the Minnesotan government.

Explanation: The state senate and marijuana activists decided to wait until he left office.

Whats up Helpme? Keep up the good work. We got to keep pressure on the Feds. I'm not trying to hijack your thread but I signed your petition, so I was wondering if you could return the favor and sign mine. It's BS the way they responded to eight different petitions with the same lame canned answer. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if some of the people reading this will sign our petitions. Peace.

Your probably right, but its that kind of attitiude that will keep marijuana illegal forever. At least if its online then its accessible for millions of americans and people can see what the important issues are. We are never going to get anywhere without having some way of communicating what we want as a society. So please take five minutes out of your time and sign these, or other petitions that involve the legalization and decrimalization of marijuana.
