What's too cold?

I have a grow room I just built in my garage. It gets fairly cold at night here, and I'm wondering what's too cold for the plants during my 12 hour off period?
My room is OSB with panda stapled on. No insulation. I am starting with 1x1000w bulb and will be @ 4x1000w somewhere down the road. Any ideas? should I run a heater @ night? It does freeze here occasionally.:leaf:

ideal temps are between 78-82F. I have let mine drop down to 72F and they are still good to go!

cold nights stunt root growth which will stunt the rest of the growth. 70 f is ideal
yeah, get a heater ASAP but cover the power on light or you'll get hermies don't get one with glowing red wire heating elements either, a ceramic heater or oil filled radiator is what you want. Sealed pails of water will store a lot of lights on heat for later BTW.

Thanx everyone for the replies. I will put the thermometer out tonight and have an update in a little bit. I love the sealed waterpail idea. Would you recomend a metal can or plastic jug? Also I have not gone to flower yet I am still in veg. I want my room as close to perfect before I go to flower. I have some unknown seeds (have an idea but not sure) that I want to sex, but if they are females I want to run them out right. They are 6 weeks old.
