does anyone on this site have any tat's ? did u design ur own ? i have designed my tat hoping to get it done soon, does it hurt much ? any help would be great

I have two! i have the malibu rum logo on my ankle and a pink flower that i drew myself (in calculus lol) on my left inner wrist.

it doesnt hurt, but i have a high threshold for pain. it feels like when a dog runs its nail down your leg with alot of pressure but not enough to break skin. Its hard to describe and im baked as hell lol. Afterwards, it just ITCHS like a bitch and you're not allowed to scratch it so its like....hell. but lotion helps. IMO they are better than peircings because they are easier to heal and dont actually HURT. they're just a bit sore for a few hours.

I have my left leg fully sleeved but not yet fully colored or backgrounded in yet, I have a ohm that I got when I was 15 on my leg to, also I have karma on my inner wrist, but my sister is starting her tattoo apprenace next week soo, who knows what is in store for me, so mabe Ill meet my goal of 25 tats by the age 25. ohh yah .

Doesnt hurt after first 30 seconds....Doesnt really hurt at all for that matter...Tender spots for me where the back of my arm and on my side by my ribs..

It helps if you got sombody good doing it to guy I used to go to was fuckin angry or somthing and you could feel it lol....I go to a chick now and I would suggest you do the same...Maybe its just the hot girl doing it and you dont wanna seem like a bitch so that helps.. But me I scream like a bitch anyways if it hits a sweet spot...

the guy told me it would hurt the closer they got to the middle of my chest...it stung a lil in the middle but damn the closer he got to my side was the worst part, and i'm a pussy by no means but yea, that shit sucked when it was skin to bone without any fat in the way....on the other hand the one i (had) on my arm didnt hurt at all, and the 2 i did myself on my my legs didnt really hurt either...until i took them out...don't ask...you probably don't want to know how to remove a bootleg tat....lol

You go sit for a 4 hour sitting and tell me it doesnt hurt, I have sat through over 20 hours in total and fuck boy after about 3 hours it starts to fucking hurt. The first couple of hours your laughing but then it starts to itch. but it is so worth it you wont even think of it when your all finished.

yea i have notice that now getting tattoo'd seeems to be more of a fashion kinda thing like it used to be like crim's and bikers that used to get tats but now tattooing is a big thing, well in aus it is, but thanks for replying guys

Tattoos are no longer the taboo they used to be and have become more mainstream. There are several tv shows about it and such. I designed my own tattoo, I have it just below my neck, top of the shoulder area, below that neck bump we all have, lol. It did hurt very much, unless I am just a wimp. But after the first 2 hours it hurt like hell. I am planning my next one but not sure as to where to put it and exactly what to design. It will get done before summer time though.
