Soil PH

Hey everyone i need help,

im on my first grow and my plants first set of leaves start twisting slightly a couple days ago. at first i thought it was just twisting to the light, but i got my ph tester today and my water is fine but i did a run off test on some soil mix i had left over and it was coming up around 4!!

im going to run over to the depot and get some domolite lime ASAP. ive done a lot of research about growing but any advice would be great. It looks very healthy now so i really shouldn't be freaking.

should i transplant into a bigger pot now with the lime in it or try and ajust soil in the cup??

Strain GH King Kush

Soil mix 1/3 peat moss 1/3 perlite 1/3 scotts potting mix (i know bad choice but i had it on hand)

Age 12 days

no nutes just filteres water at about 6-6.5 ph

2 42watt and 2 26watt CFLs

Get the lime and mix it into your transplant soil. 2tbl/gallon of mix, or 1cup/cf of mix.

Do this before you transplant.

Just the tap/filtered water, quit fucking with the pH. The seedling should be ok till transplant if you don't try and *fix* it too much and get the lime mixed into the new soil.

DO NOT get hydrated lime, dolomite or 'garden' lime is what you want.

Hey Fight...with Foxfarm Ocean soil you're gonna be in for a surprise...remember that FFOF is treated soil and not every strain can take what they have....If you are gonna use it for your seedlings. I suggest you flush the soild until your "Run off" has an EC reading of .8 or on the .5ppm scale bring your ppms to a 400 -430 No more than that and if you are using the .7ppm scale make sure you ppm are no more than 560. but if you are using a CF's as your metrics...I dont know what those numbers should be.

Its 14 days old not so idk if i would call it a seedling, the leaves have drooped a little bit. its been little over 24 hours since transplant. hopefully it will recover 100% by Sunday.

iv never had any problems with fox farm ocen forrest...also, iv used just about every brand soil there is, FFOF is highest quality IMO..but, i dont think you should have to do anything for time being, i think the droop will go away naturally....but in the future, as wetdog suggested, dolomite lime will save you a headache

Ocean forest is good soil thats what I use and its the shit. Anyways with mine I add a couple cup fulls of vermiculite to air it up a little bit and it works awsome. Never have problems with it, just ph my water/nutes and everything is good evertime I check my run off.

How yo plant looking? In the pic it look good but time to transplant~
If this is all it is I wouldn't mess with the lime or ph nothing too 8.0!
The ph runoff test isn't right is not accurate same as for the ppms!
If the plant looks good don't do nothing.......

buy a decent soil. then keep your ph at 6.5, it must be 6.5 or your plants will suffer.
i use, canna terra professional plus, it has only enough nutrients to last a week and then you control the feeding yourself with your own nutrients, and a ph of 6.5 my plants go grow crazy, i am growing barneys farm lsd with a flowering time of 65 days and i have 20 days to go and they look ready for harvest now, and i am only using cheap ionic, grow, bloom and boost nutrients, nothing more.

here is a ph chart.

p.s. did your wife make you a crap meal so you snapped your chopsticks in a temper?

When there is enough to top.

Let another couple sets of leaves grow, then cut off the uppermost.

Did you get the lime yet?
