yeild and taste. check your water asap, my tap is straight murder for plants... sits at around 700ppm. my boys got a reverse osmosis filter he lets me use to fill my 2 5gal. i highly suggest stop using tap untill you know if its good er bad..

Thanks a lot bro....I remember being all paranoid in the beginning that everybody else's shit online looked bomb as fuck and mine was all ratty....but they came around I guess...LOL... I tried not to dive right in not knowing shit or being prepared...did a few months of research...both online forums like this and various books...had my basic equipment ready to go before I cracked any seeds...think maybe that helped a little...thanks again for the water info...glad to know I am in the clear....

I have to say i am pretty happy with my 2 400's....I know things could have been better with a bigger light but like i said before...its what i could afford at the time....a friend of mine actually just loaned me a 1000w HPS and its sitting in the garage right now...i would LOVE to hook it up but my current setup doesnt allow for venting or anything...soooo even though i know how much it would help me...i gotta wait a few more weeks till i move then i can slap that big dawg up...
