is a clever Democratic campaign that is distracting America from the real problem. Out of control spending! It's really brilliant. They have everyone so busy fighting each other nobody is talking about.

All this talk about out of control spending is just a republican campaign to distract us from the real problem, the wealthy elites profiteering at the expense of America.is a clever Democratic campaign that is distracting America from the real problem. Coming from someone with a SN of "perforator" I would say that's a harbinger of what's to come. Here comes the shit storm of partisan talking points and ad hominem barrages.
They seem to think all they have to do is keep repeating the lie that our government spends an unusual amount of money that it will be come a fact. When it comes to total government spending the US is in the lower middle of the pack. If you limit that to economic powers, we are at the bottom end of the pack. If you talk about federal government spending only the US ranks 141 out of 160 measurable nations. Here comes the shit storm of partisan talking points and ad hominem barrages.
Well, my elevation is 5,300 ft. and I'm high so.. welcome to the club?what's the mile high club?
What Exactly would the Debt be If Obama Never was president?Well lets see ... the nation is 15 TRILLION in debt now, with Obama increasing that debt by 4 trillion in just the past three years. Yeppers, our government is a real miser. Hardly spends any money at all.
it would be about the same, as almost all of the spending was in place before he got there. What Exactly would the Debt be If Obama Never was president?
But... he's black... and umm.... he's black!it would be about the same, as almost all of the spending was in place before he got there.
you can credit him with $787 billion, most of which ended up in our pockets as tax breaks.
tax breaks are only a good idea when republicans give them.But... he's black... and umm.... he's black!
No he's not, that was all propagandaBut... he's black... and umm.... he's black!
it used to be that even one drop made someone black. No he's not, that was all propaganda
How many black people do you know?it used to be that even one drop made someone black.
now being half black does not qualify you as being black.
i sure am glad all these white people are around to make sure i know who is black or not.
like i said, i sure am thankful for all these white people to keep me abreast of what qualifies as black. How many black people have you seen?
How many of them have immediate family in Africa or from Africa or Hawai or Indonesia? How many of them grew up in multiple countrys and went to school in multiple countrys? He's African American- Not a regular black guy
The debt is a measurement of how much more we spend than we tax, not just a measurement of how much we spend. The fact is that we spend less than most countries, but we also tax less two, especially when it comes to large corporations and the wealthy.Well lets see ... the nation is 15 TRILLION in debt now, with Obama increasing that debt by 4 trillion in just the past three years. Yeppers, our government is a real miser. Hardly spends any money at all.
Statistically the top 20% of earners in the nation pay 40% of all the income tax in the country. The US has the highest corporate tax of any country in the world, we just happen to put in loopholes that the biggest most profitable companies can use to get out of paying most of it. You could tax the wealthy 100% of income and you still couldn't pay off the debt, not even close. The debt is a measurement of how much more we spend than we tax, not just a measurement of how much we spend. And they control ~70% of the nations wealth right? So they are receiving 70% of the total financial benefit from the American economy. They should be paying 70% of the taxes.Statistically the top 20% of earners in the nation pay 40% of all the income tax in the country.
Sure, but if you taxed the wealthy at a higher rate (not 100%) and INCLUDED taxing their financial transactions without loopholes, you could balance the budget and start paying off the debt in a healthy economy. You could tax the wealthy 100% of income and you still couldn't pay off the debt, not even close.
