@Tran Dinh, so are you saying that its to late to plant outdoors here in oz???
I was planning on doing so in a week or 2 once my seeds arrive.
You still got enough time to do a grow, but usually we start end of September in Australia. I remember cropping with my old man in February many times maybe even March and im from Melbourne. you wont get monsters thats all coz of the shorter veg time.

no way mate far from it, i was planning to pop beans into december.
You can grow all year round if the weathers good and use shading if you need (garbage bags, cover your plants to mimic 12/12 light hours)
Cheers Min good to see you here
Good to here and also thanks for the info on the garbo bags for 12/12 aswell.
I cant wait for these beans to arrive. I wanna start planting now. I got some fem beans comming aswell as norm. Would you recommend i keep the fem for indoor and use the norm for outdoors?

I just wanna give it ago as its been like 20years I recon since I last did a outdoor grow. Monster would be great but I`ll just settle for a few semi monsters for now.

Hey guys, Im from NSW, still a newbie I've only had two successful indoor grows (Bagseed, Doggies Big Bud). Expecting in a big order of seeds to come in this week, and me and my two best buddies are planning maybe three guerilla grows, out in the blue mountains about a distance from each other to maximise harvest. We've only been out there a few times with our girlfriends and shit, but we're going to be hiking around after uni exams to find really secluded grow spots. Does anybody know of any secluded areas? Nowhere specific of course, but like any areas in particular that gets drained into (like a basin) so it doesn't need alot of watering, so we can minimize our visiting times, maybe twice a month?

Good to see we have a community going here :)
Problems with places like blue mountains and national parks etc. is that police search them 24/7 and if police aren't there then other growers are growing there. And on top of that you got the scum that go around ripping plants up and taking them for the lot. Better of indoor or in your backyard.

another week and a half on and the babies are looking good. The first pic is an unknown strain. The second pic shows all of them. Ones on the left are SLH and about a week behind the others. The third pic is a SLH that had been topped so its a bit bushier than the fourth pic which hasn't been.

man i love your set-up, your so lucky:) your gonna be up to your eyeballs
Keep topping and fimming (the shit out of them) it will encourage them to get fatter and wider. I have some experience with SLH and there are some journals her from other Aussies who have grown out the SLH

So you can see how much she stretches, so take advantage of that horizontal space and fill it in so you can flip those lights sooner.
Looking gnarly in there, love the big pre-historic look of the SLH, very similar to the one in that link

cheers and nice update.:weed:

I agree with Tran Dinh, you are lucky. I`d love to have that space and setup. Keep up the good work and keep us posted with the grow.

hi min, i recall you asking about the fem seeds vs reg. Well its just the convenience really of knowing that it will be a girl. This is handy for small med users with plant number restrictions, every plant space is valuable for some.
Other then that no real diff. But also there is still a small chance it could be male. fem is something like 99%

thanks for the tips and the link, I'll check it out now. What do you recommend doing with one thats been topped? Should I try fimming the branches that are pulled down? Or just cut off the new node on a branch? will that make it split into 2

has anyone here ever grown Juicy Fruit or Super Crystal outdoors? I read somewhere on this forum that someone had grown Super Crystal outdoors and they said never again.
Either way, once my beans arrive i`ll give it a try anyways.

MAte im not much of a fimmer/topper, but ive seen bushes first hand, really well done many many tops. The best advice i can give from my observations are top/fim as much as you can as often as you can, healthy plants bounce back really fast and pump new growth. The reason is so that you can flip the switch ASAP, as all this new/vertical growth is wasted time and energy if we are lopping it off. Get them big and wide sooner. And the SLH will reward you with a big stretch and long glistening colas
Theres a little bit of an art to it and it comes with experience. You can top/fim randomly or some will do 2 topping passes then FIM etc. You will get familiar with what works best, especially if your using the same clone again.
And if its not fimming/topping then its putting more plants in to fill that space sooner.
Growing tall trees is better with vertical lights.
Theres many good ways go with what feels good and have fun:eyesmoke:
peace mate, keep it up:bigjoint:

Yeah I figured trial and error was the best way, thats why I didn't top all of them at the same time. Try a few different things and see what works.
