Even if someone doesn't pay income tax, there are always sales taxes.

not to mention taxes every time i put gas in the tank, property taxes that get figured into my rent, and other hidden/imbedded taxes.

but i did actually work for 3+ months this year, so i have paid income taxes too.

Most of the world lives on $1500 a year or less. The protesters in America that are protesting some kind of inequality between the rich and poor should take a hard look at global inequality. Americans even at the poverty level in this country are in the top 30% or so of the richest people in the world!
When I look at the protesters I see people that have never missed a meal in their lives, people that have never known real hardships, people that think the world owes them something.These are the worlds fat cats protesting because they have been minorly inconvenienced by current hard times.

The real transfer of wealth takes money out of every Americans pocket.

Its still OK for people who are "part of the 1%" to wake the f@#k up.

So if they are there arm-in-arm with the rest, that perfectly fine. It doesn't mean that you have to come from poverty in order for you to want more equality in the world.

That is exactly the point.... it is gonna take more than just the poor people figuring it out to effect some positive changes.... powerful people are going to have to step up for humanity... and wake the f@#k up.

If people in America cannot see they are privileged compared to others in the world and that leveling the playing field may mean "taking money for American's pockets".... they too need a reality check.

I live here in the US... its not like the idea having less is appealing to me.... but what is less appealing is knowing the people of the world, including me, are being victimized by a corrupt system.

I would say more than half, probably nearly most of the people do. Whether they overtly know it or not, as I did last time I voted for a fake as candidate who I had no real idea about before I elected to vote for them.

The only time you will pay taxes is when you go buy something. Rich people buy alot more than the poor so they pay more taxes which is what people are complaining about to begin with. dumb shit here. Everyone buys things overseas, but they don't buy everything this way. You give one example that doesn't really mean a damn thing. If a fair tax is implemented anything purchased will be taxed, no matter if it is purchased under a business name or otherwise.

I'm plenty informed on the protests. Do you walk by one atleast 3 times a week? I'm seeing whats going on first hand. Are you?

I see them every time I go to the dispensary.

I saw a car break down at a stoplight next to them today, and they came to help the guy push his car.

The riot police have already came once, and ran everyone off. But they aren't leaving. This is real, some of these people have NO other place to be, and sacrificing your life for teacher salary isn't everyone's idea of a "Job".
