nice. did it make a mess? how much trim/bud did you use? what micron bag? pics? i just heard about this dry ice deal last week and i swear it changed my life lol. i like hearing from people who tried it for the first time because i haven't tried it yet.
I used about 1 zip of bud that I totally fucked up in my DWC, burnt the fuck out of it. And I used about 1 zip of trim. I won't have a hash weight till I get my new scales today.
It was not too messy. I have a large mirror from a chest of drawers. Hash never left the mirror.
I bought 10lbs. of dry ice but only used about 4 lbs.
I got my mesh bag from a local brewers store, he didn't know the micron. From my research 120 micron is great. My hash turned out light green and very fine. It was very easy to press it with wax paper.
The bag is not very big so I used a small plastic coffee container. Trim in can, 1 cup of dry ice on top of trim. Can in bag, flip and shake. It's that easy
I just tried this for the first time as well. I started with a 5 gal bucket and 220 micron screen, 40lbs of dry ice, and lots of trim. Ended up getting two giant pill bottles full of keif. Not bad for leaves....
5 gal bucket would have killed my arms. I shook my can for awhile, scraped up a pile, then shook some more. It never looks like much till you scrape it up. Then DAMN good stuff.
Yea, it was killing mine too. But I'm a bigger guy, and have done a lot of manual labor so, it really wasnt that bad. I will say tho, that anyone who is thinking of making bubble hash, or BHO should definitely check this method out..... SO EASY, and HUGE yield for little product...
Try your local grocery store. The Raley's by me carries it. I am doing this method as soon as I can get a bag. Love your avatar btw SunnyD. I do believe that is one of the frostiest nugs I've ever seen.
