Hey guys I'm new to growing, just got my lights, one HPS and one MH, from what I understood I should use HPS for veggin' and MH for flowring right?
But I also think for veggin it should need a kinda "blue" light, right?
cause my HPS is more reddish so I'm a bit confused ^^ would appreciate a bit of help!

Other way round my friend. HPS to flower, MH to veg. Ya don't need anything else in the lighting department. The light spectrums that the plants use are invisible to the naked eye so dont worry about how they look.

Thanks bro! I just changed the lights, now its also looking bluish as I thought it should be :D! thanks again n happy growing!

I have 250W lights (one HPS and one MH), I was thinking to make just max 3 plants, I-m going DWC, and I bought a bucket where I can grow 3 plants at time, is that alright?

Also I have a growbox about 1,60 meters height, how much should I grow the plant before start flowering?

Well for one thing, I'd flower with both lights if you're not going to have multiple generations of plants and can control the heat. A mixed spectrum of 500 watts of HID lighting will give you a much better harvest than one 250 HPS could give.

Three plants sounds fine for a single HPS.

How tall they should get is determined by your flower light. With a single 250 HPS, I wouldn't let them get more than 18-20" after the stretch, so no more than 10-12" in veg.

For the height, yeah that sounds just about right to me too, thanks really for your posts, very helpfull!

Just another question if you can answer my friend, from 3 plants on a 250w how much can I expect to harvest? I know it depends from many things, just a really average quantity, if everything is done correctly what should it be?

(sorry for my english if I made any mistake)

In my room, I'd be unhappy with anything less than 5-6 ounces. All things being equal, of course.

Ok, well atm the most important thing is that I learn how to do all this properly, when I'll be sure enough that I'm good at it, I'll think about getting more/more wattage lights more space and everything, the shitty part is that in my country we got like 1500w per house at hand, which sucks -.-

Each grow you'll tweak shit as you learn. That's the cool part. You should get better as you grow or think about another hobby.

Btw in a grow tent like 1,60cm x 90cm x 50cm do you think I could make a scrog and improve my yeld?
