This Noob screwed up! Will they survive?

OK. I have over-watered my plants and the base of the stems of about half of them are wasting away. As soon as I noticed this, I corrected the problem by cutting way back on the watering schedule. The thing is, they are still growing.
Are they doomed? The one in the picture has it the worst.

They'll probably be fine. Add a bit of h2o2 to your res, get a fan blowing on them, and water significantly less. How much were you watering to begin with anyway?

Take the plastic off, grab the cube like a baseball and hold tight... now fling it, don't trough it, just fling the water out.

I had that happen before and flinging works great! gets most of the water out. This might sound stupid, but water them "again" heavy, with new water that has been bubbled for oxygen then wait one min, and fling all the water out! tomorrow they will look great,if its not to late.

I've put on a bigger fan and went from watering once per day to every other day.
How much H2O2 should I add to a 10 gal reservoir? Will this kill the fungus? (I'm assuming it's a fungus).

I'll try that!

H2O2 is just water with an extra oxygen molecule, when added to water in small amounts it breaks down into water and oxygen. You are just adding oxygen to the water. I doubt it will cure any fungus out of water, but it will oxygenate your water.

I've never done hydro, but when I need to give my aquarium an oxygen boost I'd add a cap per 20 gallons.

Rockwool does not drain well...... that shit holds 10 times it's weight.. I like to use rapid rooters just for that reason. no more rockwool for me. far as the h2o2 it does work I was just thinking him being a noob, he may use to much & burn em.....?

Please read the wiki page before telling this kind of stuff to newbs... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide

Just because part of a chemical formula is similar to something you know does not mean it is anything like the thing you know.

Ex.
N2 (Diatomic Nitrogen) makes up nearly 80% of the air you breath and is completely inert.
N (atomic nitrogen) is highly combustible, and would kill you the instant it entered your lungs.
