Hi - I am in Portland and just had a space open up. I do require a contract, offer 1 free ounce per month with additional available for reasonable reimbursement. If interested make some posts so you can PM me :-)

I only grow for myself but honestly I think a small reimbursement is the least you could do. It's still work no matter how you look at it.

Not to be rude, maybe I am just new at this but your not suppose to ask for "Reimbursement".. Am I wrong?
He would be more accurate in saying "donation". And he said reasonable, so that implies that he is not talking street prices.

The thing I tell patients is this.....figure out how much you (as a patient) smoke during a month. Then you can just be honest with your grower, and make sure you negotiate a deal that gets you the marijuana you need to smoke for free. A lot of growers know how much most med patients smoke. I smoke a lot of pot, and if I am just smoking myself, not smoking those out around me, I smoke about an ounce a month. If you need it, most growers will try to make it happen for you. But when you start saying you smoke more than an ounce a month, doubt enters the equation. And do not get me wrong......there are so many ways to administer marijuana out there, so there could be patients that are using more than an ounce legitimately, but in my opinion, not just smoking it.

Here's what the law says from the OMMP website:
(7) A registry identification cardholder
or the designated primary caregiver of the
cardholder may reimburse the person
responsible for a marijuana grow site for the
costs of supplies and utilities associated with
the production of marijuana for the registry
identification cardholder. No other costs
associated with the production of marijuana
for the registry identification cardholder,
including the cost of labor, may be
reimbursed. [2005 c.822 §8; 2007 c.573 §2;
2009 c.595 §966

I do not think there is anything wrong with how Shango put it, especially after the OMMP website cut and paste above. I guess reasonable reimbursement makes total sense.

Honestly all the plants and meds are yours when someone grows for you not just an oz a month. It's also legal to reimburse your grower for costs of the grow aswell as respectful. Some patients allow growers to keep meds for payments or like my two patients I grow for they make me dinner once every few months as a thank you. You could look up some orgs like Oregon Green Free,Mamas, voter power etc. Who help patients get growers, plants, knowledge to help get them on the road to being self sufficient. What ever you choose to do best of luck
