I had the same issue with clones I'm running right now...new growth since I transplanted seems to have corrected it...but I'd like to know myself what causes this to happen :)

I'm doing my first grow in a stealth cabinet, GH Waterfarms and GH nutes, started with 2 Green House femanized SLH seeds and both were in the exact growing conditions from the beginning but one plant had leaves exactly like yours and just yesterday after about a week and a half of flowering discovered it had balls and had to cut it down while the other looks happy and healthy. Go figure

thats bad news mate i dont think thats the problem here because i can already see a few female preflowers ill watch out for any balls tho lol:peace:

I made a lot of noob mistakes in the beginning as far as mixing the correct nute concentrations and both plants were a bit stressed in the beginning, I figured that the one plant just wasn't able to recover as the one remaining and thats why it turned male, but perhaps it was just a bad seed.

mine are cuttings from a female...I'd like to know what someone who has had this problem and corrected it actually figured out the issue was so I can prevent it with future cuttings :D

might be room conditions. to wet or hi humidity. usualy when a leaf curls down like that its saturated. not releasing water at the same rate its uptaking., stomata are closed so it cant transpire. can be a few diff reasons to cause that. usualy happens to lower leaves or shaded ones.

The humidity has been pretty low...and the temp ranges from 55F to 62F...I think my issue was a combination of low temp and humidity...now that I put up some cheap insulation with the reflective side in it seems to be keeping the area about 5-6degrees warmer, and its been a little more humid lately so the humidity has gotten up around 50-60% :D

answered it yourself...to cold and way to much temp swing below 60 there is no processes at all. its kind of like hybernating. wont die but wont grow either.
you sure you posted right temps...your like 20 degree to cold

yes...its cold in my basement...and its just going to get worse...I'll build a fully enclosed area at some point like my flowering area so the lights keep the temp up in it...I might vent some of the furnace into the basement as well, but we'll see...

its not realy strain dependent..its food process. i dont know of any strain that grows in cold like that....properly
and when people look at the temp and climate of say the indica like you said...that was before we messed with its natural state. there is so much info, and is great info..but say for eg on microbes . when the research shows how they do what they do and the bennefit. the research is done without us messing with it. so in nature it works that well. but not once we start messing with it by temps and food and ph and human interference.
so in nature indi may be a colder climate plant..but we arent in nature. they dont add all out influences we do to the plant. they didnt test the fungi with dumping pH solution or anything else in the test. 1 variable to the set up and all the science goes out the window
