**how many problems can you find with this plant & is it ready to FIM or top?***

Hey everyone.

these clones are about 6 days in the red cups. it looks like we have too much of a basic pH going on..cuz the difficiencies are all across the board from what we can tell.

also i think the roots are having problems setting cuz of the twisting of some leaves.

any suggestions..i welcome any ideas or thoughts.

also would anyone think that this one plant might be ready to FIM or TOP?

That's deficient of something? So you say you think your PH is too high...have you tested your soil?

Ok...lets settle down here partner...they have been in there 6 days and you are asking if they can be fim'ed or top'ed yet...you trying to stress the shit out of them and stunt them and make them hate you?

I have one word of advise for you "Relax"...its a plant...there are no set in stone time tables except the ones you create...so...get your clones rooted...let them grow up a little bit...then think about training ;)

we have not tested our soil...only the pH of the water we have been feeding with.

would you say the spining of the leaves is a root issue? so how much longer should i wait? cuz theres about 3 node sections already. but i do understand about waiting for them to grow alil bit. what time line would you recommend?

could u maybe say pH as well cuz of potential multiple difficiencies going on? also 3 days ago we pretty much guessed we over fed all of them n they started looking weak so we flushed all of them with 70ppm R.O. water and let them all dry out and we noticed a huuuuuuge improvement in all of them including a growth spurt. from what we understand is that when letting coco dry out...salt accumulation increases and you can get lock up pretty much.

any suggestions?

Pay more attention. It's been in the cup 7 days. Seriously doubt it's root bound already. That leaf twisting is fine. It looks healthy so don't over think things.

what pH would anyone suggest specificly? what bout the wavy looks to the leaves on the surfaces? i thought it was related to some sort of difficiency?

and it looks like intervenial chlorosis is occurring potentially? what you think?

coco, people say like ph of 6.2...did you PH your coco? Or did you just take it out of the bag and mix perlite with it?

Also you have 0 nutrients in that...just so you are aware ;) Might want to read up on growing in coco a bit :D

no we did not pH our coco. just mixed it up. were using sensi grow a&b

isnt it true tho with drying out coco leads to salt build ups?

I run 5.8 in coco/perlite and have no issues. That shit is easy to flush so just run 1/4 strength nutes at 5.8 through. Like 2 cups so it can flush salts. Definitely looks like ph so don't try to fix anything until that is resolved. That will cause all kinds of deficiency as it locks out nutes. You can up pot too. Use 1 tbsp dolomite lime per gallon of your coco mix to keep cal and mag deficiencies at bay. I would not top yet personally but you could. I think they have enough stress already;)
What brand coco?

Did you miss my post about "Relax"? ;)

you are suppose to soak your coco in the PH you want it to be at...so if you started with coco with a PH of 8...its still at 8...did the bag tell you what PH it is? From what i've read it usually says on the bag...(I've never grown in coco..i've just read about it)

haha lol im just making sure we can fully maximize everything potential for these plants.. no we did not soak our coco.(i havnt heard bout that but not doubting it) & im not too sure what the bag said...when i get off work ill check n repost the info.

The biggest thing you can do for growing marijuana is to take a step back and stop overanalyzing everything...yes you'll have leaves that will brown and wilt for no damn reason and you'll be all up in arms thinking its going to be the end of the world...its a plant...its not something that you can completely control...its going to do its own thing at times regardless of how much you look at it ;) So sit back relax...smoke a spliff and enjoy your growing experience :D

i agree with what you're saying and disagree at the same time because everyway your plants react has a direct result as to why its occurring and it always has a potential to be fixed.

but you are correct bout sitting back and enjoying the process of growing...you got to enjoy what you're doing because if you're not..you're doing it for teh wrong reasons.
