Ive noticed that my King's Kush tends to need water much less than my other plants. most of my others need water every 4-5 days (all in 5gal pots) while the KK can go as much as 8 days or so without water.

how can i increase the drainage when im already in flowering?

my buckets have several holes in the bottom (before anyone asks) and i used ocean forest mixed with perlite so im honestly not sure why this ONE PLANT is almost always heavy when i do the lift test.

for pics visit my journal in my sig.

Not all plants, regardless of species, take up water as readily as others. As long as you have a few holes in the bottom and are sure the roots are not constantly soggy, you should be fine. How is the health and appearance of the one plant as opposed to the others? Is there any major difference in height, color, overall appearance from the others?

well theres a major difference as it wasn't LST'd in such. just topped once while the others were topped twice and LST'd. it was the slowest to grow compared to the rest.

overall its not looking too great as of yesterday. the leaves closest to the top of the plant are curling downward...just the leaves on the highest node. and some of the lowest ones are yellowing but in flowering thats to be expected. other than that not really. pics are available in my journal. its the Kings kush (also maked as KK in some pics)

Perlite and the one thats holding water for 8 days is a sick plant with issues, a healthy flowering (6 oz plant) can drink over 2 litres a day with no drooping.
