White Widow Nitrogen claw

I am currently growing White Widow in an ebbnflow setup using sensi bloom and grow 2 part. First week or so was ok, week 3 lots of clawing of leaves. I have been running bout half on the grow nutes to start them out. They are under a 400w hps, and plenty of ventilation, so I am pretty sure it's the n level. Now I know I should flush them to start fresh, but what can I do to keep this from coming back, I want to run at least a week or so more of grow before switching to bloom, but would switching now help? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and that's 3 weeks at 12/12 from clone, so they are officially flowering.. Maybe that's the answer there?

I will take them tomorrow morning when the light is on. Changing to bloom nutes didn't really do much. But I am not sure they would rebound after only one flushing and the nute change. They are still growing damn fast, but i worry that now that they are in flower, that it will hurt bud quality.

Yeah, get pics. Typically it means too many nutes so I would flush nd back down 200 ppm to see what they say

Yeah, mine was half and half solution, but I heard ww is very nute sensitive.. So maybe I will just save on nutes? That's not a bad thing.. Gues I will flush them double this weekend and cute my half and half to 1/8 and see how they do. Pics posted tomorrow.

Do you know what your ph and EC/ppm are at?

I'm growing greenhouse ww now and she's pretty easy. Have done a few harvest and usually fed full strength wo any problems.. 3 ts's sensi bloom plus calmag and they seem to love it. Pics will help tho because you might have a underlying problem

And in veg it seems like they can take anything you can throw at them. If you think you overfed them then you can give a good flush and wait a watering to feed and see how it goes

Ph is mid fives, don't know exact as I am using the old fashioned strips. Not sure on ppm either, I know ours is a bit hard. And I'm using an sensi bloom, no calmag.

see, the clawing isnt too bad, but its the ridges of all the fan leaves and they are really shiny as well. making me think N is the culprit.

I don't think it's "the claw". When you see it you'll know it. And I don't think it's a problem. But I grow in soil. Void Object mods Hydro, he'll know. ask him and tell em I sent ya.

Maybe bad genetics? I grew in dwc same water, no issue, different mom.

Anyone else have any ideas? As I stated before, soil and dwc grows were no issue, even my aerocloner uses it with no issue, but those were growing master Kush, kaya, and bubblegum. So not too sure the water would have that much of a difference. Maybe not watering enough or not enough of other nutes? I also noticed slight yellowing of outer bottom fan leaves.. Don't know if that helps.

Looks weird. Did you get the PPM of your nute mix? They kind of look hungry to me but that I a guess. With dyna-gro I run about 1.0 EC to 1.3 EC. Also I had issues last year with city water. In the fall they switch sources and cal was doubled in the new supply. Took me 3 months to figure out what happened. I always use RO these days.

Yeah thinking of shelling out the money to just buy a ro system. They aren't too pricey these days.

I tried to avoid it but had to do it. I even tried goin back to tap but too many issues. With tap ph is hard to bring down and I'd use a shitload of ph down. Currently with RO I can just mix my nutes in the right proportions and end up at 5.8. Haven't used a drop of ph up or down on my current run. If you can afford it also get a tds/ppm ph meter. It will be instrumental in gaining insight to wat is going on. I have a hanaa and love it.

i had something similar to this a good while ago, if i remember right it was temp/humidity related. the leaves on a couple of the plants got like rubberized veins running down them and the leaves would fold on these lines. my night temps were quite cold at the time and when i turned the lights on it was causing the humidity/temp to fluctuate quite a lot betweenn day and night.
might not be what you have but looks similar. hope you get it sorted!

Good point lucifer. Environment is a big deal. I chased nute deficiencies for two weeks to find it was related to too much airflow on the canopy with high light. It was just suckin them dry.
