.... we used the British to send out false radio messages that convinced the Germans we would invade further north. They also help us make giant armies of inflatable planes and tanks so when the German spy plans would come back it looked like our army was in the north.

UK also sent over many doubles agents. They would convince the Nazis by telling them how they are sure to win and didn't want to be part of the losing allies. They would go back and return with fasle information that also helped the allies spread out the Nazi forces .

All the wars prior to and since have not been near as glamerous. If we were indeed the heros you say we were, wouldn't we have come and saved your asses long before pearl harbor? When it gets down to it, we are in it for ourselves, not unlike any other government out there. To put us on a pedistol and give us the responsibility to be the worlds hero is your fault.

No, most americans dont know the extent that we are hated. They THINK they know why we are hated, and they know some big ones, but are ultimately clueless to the majority of reasons. Really, every country actually has their own reasons. Lots and lots of reasons. My step mom came to visit me when I was living in Vietnam, a kid came to try to sell her stuff and she didnt buy. The kid continued his sales pitch and small talk, he asked her,"where you from? Canada,eeng-lan? French?" She said "im american" with a bit of pride.
