Will changing the photoperiod during flowering be that big a problem?

Well its two questions in one really but, currently my lights are on 6pm to 6am approx. I was thinking of changing it so its during the day and I can let it outside to get natural air/light

2nd question is a continuation: the reason i wanna move it is because its got low wattage at the moment, because im undecided on what to do. i have 2 flowering plants, one is about 12 inches the other only on its 3rd/4th set of true leaves. The space theyre in is a closet, 6.5 ft tall, 2.7 wide, 2.3 deep. it has a shelf in it which actually makes it 2.7 feet tall. Has 2 small cfl's dangling between them which isnt enough for a decent yield and has no really exhaust just oscillating. I bought a 600w and realize id need a big exhaust for that. My question is, with height of the plants and the size of the space considered, would it be worth getting a big fan (what size approx?) for the rest of the grow? or should i just go for a 250w cfl (which i probably wouldnt use by next grow?

First I would gradually change the light times and second I would use the 600 watter. Nugs will be 20x's the size other than using the cfl's, get the fan and figure out how to make it work. Look at it as an investment, the more you do the more you will receive in return

Fans depend on the size of the tent. length x width x height (all in feet) / 60 (minutes in an hour) then multiply that by how many times you want to exchange the air, you want at least once every 5 minutes. I have a 250 CFM fan in a 5x5x6 area, wish I had a slightly bigger one. But it'll work for the cool tube I just bought.

If your area is smaller than 5x5x6 then you'll do just fine with a 250 CFM fan. I wouldn't go any lower than that though, you're bound to upgrade eventually.

Well my space works out at 40 cubic feet, so technically for one rotation a minute I'd only need 40 cfm? Correct? 250 cfm would give me one every... 10 seconds ? Let's say hypothetically I go for 50-100 accounting for cfm loss due to ducting, would that keep temps unchanged or would it still be overwhelming without a cooltube

nah you should be good with a 50-100 CFM. You can get CPU fans in the 200 CFM range, I can look them up again if you want one. If you plan on getting a carbon filter at any point, you'll need a vortex/can style fan because it has enough pressure to use the filter properly and effectively.

This CFM business doesn't mean it'll work out good. You'll also push out a lot of fresh clean air along with the used up air. You might find you need to add an extra fan (in case of using PC fans), more CFM the better.

Thanks much. I kinda regret the 600 - was an impulse buy and still not as cheap as I thought but it's good to know I can make up for it with fan prices. I'm sure even those crappy bathroom extractors can do over 50. And yeah if I want the filter I suppose I will go for an inline. I'm just not sure atm. I'm still contemplating the big cfl because electricity might not be worth it at this stage. But I do know with 4 weeks flowering left on my White widow I'll have to think fast.

Also yeah after ur first post I looked up some pc fans i'd bookmarked in the past and a few of those will definitely do it
