In the long run you might save a little on the power bill, but

1. If it's just a small personal stash.. why not have the best? If you can't handle it just smoke small amounts and it will last you a long time and when you buddies come over you can get them blazed out of their tree. :mrgreen:

2. If you are dealing..
How much does lower quality weed go for in your area? I don't even buy the low quality stuff anymore but i see it all the time and know its cheaps as dirt.
How much does the high quality shit go for in your area? I know that up in my area the good weed = a very heavy wallet! $$$$$

So what do you think?

that sounds good, maybe i'll just get hps, is it easy to set up?? and what if i wanna use two, then i need to do some shit with my outlets that I don't know how to do?

i've read that about HID, and old houses usually having to upgrade the electrical, therefore that gives me a problem as it is not my house

wow when I started reading this it had 4 pages now 5 O_O this thread has helped me a lot but for some1 like me hiding the fact there growing from there parents and growing in a grow box to change there lights! I think Iwill have to just stick with CFLS in the future .....

This reply is a bit off-topic but when I read the above-quoted post I couldn't help myself...
Speaking as a responsible cannabis user, growing in your parents' home without their permission is incredibly disrespectful and stupid - if your garden was discovered by law enforcement, regardless of how many or how few plants you have, your parents could potentially lose everything they've worked for - house, car, boat, whatever - simply trying to keep you or themselves out of jail. In the States the DEA would make an example of a situation like yours. Even if you live in a country with more lenient marijuana laws, growing in your parents' home without their permission and going to great lengths to keep it from them is just dishonerable. I'm not trying to flame you, man, I'm just hoping you'll rethink your grow strategy and show a little more respect for the people who keep a roof over your head and food in your mouth.

if you dont know what you are talking about, then listen the first time I tell you. 800w is 800w. not matter if its coming from a HID or CFLs. And WTF are you talking about you electrical cant handle 800w. 800w is nothing...dude a microwave uses like 1300w. use some common sense
