Gatorade bottles mostly... nes tea green tea bottles... Tallyhos... the usual.
haha the bogan's bong. ;P I remember those good old days skipping class to go to the park with mates, spending time having to find a bottle, and cutting a neighbours hose for a 'stem', looking for a 'stoka' when the Cp gets clogged *sigh* those were fun times. now I'm in Uni me and my gf invested in a vape. (seriously get one, worth a clean bill of health) make sure you get a quality one at least 150. We're using da Buddha brand ($250). like I still have a j or pull from a Billie(glass mind you) but majority of my high comes from a vape.

But I like the taste of the burnt weed... I might invest in a vape soon... but I enjoy smoking... everything about it... the cutting of the roach, the chopping the weed... mixing the little bit of spin in, rolling... the smell of the smoke.. watching the cherry burn... It's not just about the end result... the whole thing is an involved, sensual experience...

Hello fellow aussies!

I am new to indoor growing and i have been doing some research on a hps light, after going to a hydro shop the guy told me cheap online ones arent worth it but to be honest he was probably just saying that to get a deal haha. I have checked online and Has anyone used growlush or JB ballast before, are they worth it?

If your new to indoor growing, you should invest in a set of cfls at first, hps can be a nightmare, if its enclosed, you have to vent and vent the crap out of it.

I had 4 little plants (I mean seedlings) outdoors and to have died from the heat and sun. 2 have so far survived possibly cos they get mostly morning sun and a little arvo sun. The 2 that died get alround sun.
Also the 2 that died where in my crappy backyard soil. I will be transplanting then now into small pots with seedling soil mixed with some coco. I did this many years ago and was fine.
I will post pics soon and then in another week to see if they are improving. I hope my mixture of potting mix and coco will work well for me again this time round.

That is a good point, i already bought a few cfls from online, because he only warned me about the ballast online, so ill probably just use them for a while. but im still planning on getting a hps and maybe using it for flowering, i have an old air con so that could help and been doing alot research about venting/fans so hopefully it should be good.

Yea my plants are a bit over a week now, i accidentally left them outside 2days after they sprouted, i thought they were effed but they seem to be growing pretty damn fast, hopefully the early heat will condition them well for the summer

This one germinated in a 4inch rockwool cube. I just place the whole thing in the potting mix.

This one germinated in my shitty backyard soil. I just dug around and transplanted with the shitty soil into the pot with my potting mix concocktion.. how ever the fark ya spell that word. I`m sure you`ll know what I mean lol.

Can anyone tell me why the leaves are turning up on the first pic? Do they look like they are lacking anything?
Should I leave them in full sunlight? tommoz is supposed to be 30deg or some shit like that. I don`t have netting to cover them.... yet.
I`m open to any and all suggestions.

cheers.

I also picked this up today from bunnings for around $7. Their were different 1`s their for like 30-40bucks but this will do the same job. It has 2 vents on the top and also has a 24 slot seed tray.

My question is, I`m gonna put some seedling mix into it and plant some beans. Where would the best place be to place it? From reading i`ve heard its best to keep the vents shut until they sprout. I`m just not sure where to put it. Somewhere it`ll get alot of light? little light? back yard? indoor near a window or somewhere dark but warm?

Looking good! it could just be because of different strain, but then again im not sure and it does look pretty healthy, how old are they?

Here are my babies almost 2weeks, one is alot smaller than the other and i think its because one of the seedling leaves snapped off, its leave looks a bit droopy so i dont know about that.

somewhere warm and dark.
