Slight discoloration of Leaves and slight curls. Help please

Hey so this is my first grow and this is my first real problem i ran into. I dont think its too bad but i couldnt figure out what it is.

400w HPS over 4 plants
Only that plant is starting to show slight discoloration and the tips of the top leaves are slightly curling.
Soil with General Organics Go Box
Finishing up the 2nd week of 12/12
Temps: 65-80
RH:20-65 (Im not sure how accurate that is cuz i have a cheap digital thermostat)
CO2 bag inside the box too
Strain: Blackberry Kush (from clone) btw thats the only Blackberry Kush out of the 4 so maybe its the strain?

Well i can provide you guys with any other info you need any and all help would be appreciated.

underwatered? hmm i have been just feeling the soil with my hand to figure out when to water but she did get a watering w/o nutes yesterday morning.

Hey kale i was originally thinkng it might be a magnesium deficiency by looking at the pics online but mine doesnt seem to severe and all my other plants seem to be doing fine and they were all fed the same amount of nutes. BUt yea heres some more pics of the plant. Thanks for all the help you guys

It may not be Ca/Mg but let's see what Mas says.

As for feeding your plants all the same nutes, that's an awesome theory and would work well if you use clones from a plant whose needs your familiar with but each plant has different requirements and stress tolerances. Adjust your nutes accordingly if that's a viable option.

cool so if it is a ca/mg deficiency do i just up the nutes? And yea i think i should start figuring out which each individual plants need for nutees

I highly recommend soliciting other opinions, while I do know a metric fuckton of information, I am not an infallible source and there are many many people with a deeper understanding of what plants need when under stress.

the plant with the problems is probably 1.5 - 2 ft away from a air-cooled hood. So I just add a little more CA/MG on my next feeding? or should i give her some today? *Next feeding probably wont be for a few days*

I use calmag in between feedings, just because the deficiencies are so common. Just use a very low concentration with your next watering (1/3 would probably be best). Then use full concentration with your feed.

If I remember correctly Mag deficiency is mobile so adding a little bit every other watering or every 3 waterings may be beneficial for heading off the problem.
If your going to add the calmag more often though, just make sure to do very low concentrations.

Depends a lot on your soil too. I use soil with a very very low nute concentration to begin with, then mix it with about 50% coco. So I have to feed consistently, and in low concentrations. If your soil retains nutes better you may want to choose a different route. What kind of soil do you use anyway?

cool thanks a lot so you thin 1.5 ft is too close or too far? I was told about 18 inches was ok but maybe i understood it wrong.

Im using 75%FFOF and 25%Perilite

im not sure if my soil retains nutes well or not but i havent had any problems till now. O and also I water until I see just a lil bit of run off

ah FOFF...yeah its a magnesium deficiency...grab some dolomite lime from the hardware/garden store and sprinkle a couple tablespoons on the top of your soil and water it like normal...you can apply that amount every few weeks and you should be fine...next time you mix up your soil just throw in a 1/4 cup to it all and mix it up in it a few days prior

lol me and massah are going to give you very different answers because we are from two very different schools of though.

Which you follow is up to you.
I'm guessing massah is the kind of grower he prefer very good soil balance, and very little liquid nute additives.

I'm the opposite;
I use fabric pots, extremely well drained medium, and make sure my medium hold nothing, be it nutes or water. If you want to go in the balanced soil direction the advantages are much less work. However fucking up your soil results in problems that are very difficult to correct.
If you want to go with a technique more like mine. The advantages are superior control over day to day plant nutrition.

Also back the light off a bit. 1.5 ft is good when your plants are older and conditioned for it, and you want them to grow very bushy. I keep the light around 2-2.5 ft away when I want the plant to grow tall, and when they aren't quite ready for the intensity of light yet.

Actually even though my soil starting out is pretty robust, its got asstons of drainage with lots of perlite, so after about a month I start introducing about 400ppm of 10-10-10 all purpose nutrients, then raise that to about 800 until i switch to flower...then bring down the 10-10-10 to 50% and start using 50% 2-7-7 cactus food + micronutrients at 800ppm...and i flip flop around between 400 and 1200ppm for a monthish depending how much its drinking...and start using straight 2-7-7 towards the end at 800ppm+ depending on my mood and how the leaves look

Oh and I'm going to go to hydro after my next grow I think
