Last Week or Two Flowering, Flush??

I guess you can argue this all night but the bottom line is that every entry into the cannabis cup has been flushed before harvest and I seriously doubt that it is coincidence.

That's more to do with the fact the Dutch massively overfeed for the plants entire life and then try to correct it right at the end.

There are alot more than just dutch growers who enter the cannabis cup. Last I heard "massively overfeeding" kills plants.

It doesn't kill them it causes leaf burn, it's hard to kill a cannabis plant.

How do the other entrants get their plants to Amsterdam for the cup outta interest?

Either way that's an aside. A slow dry and cure metabolises the complex carbs and allows chlorophyll to be broken down, that's the trick to smooth, tasty plants. Not trying to treat them like toilets.

in order to create big buds you need big food and thru out but what happens is plant will only take so much then things start happening for instance SALT build up in your medium thats only reason to flush heres some pics ranging from day 34 to 40 2 litre sized buds :)) another 26 days to go frosty as hell i should be a cannibus cup winner lol

Ok let me put it this way, newer less experienced "forum learners" tend to flush.

People who've been growing for years and have tried both tend not to flush.

That about sum it up for you?

Two questions, what colour are your leaves at harvest? And do you pH the water you flush with?

There sure are alot of less experienced forum learners that have cups then I guess. You are one of those guys that will argue a point just to argue and have no regard for the fact that you are spreading bad info. You are a joke and I am done with you. Enjoy your weed. It is obviously alot better than anything most of the rest of us can grow. I am real surprised that High Times isnt beating down your door asking you to do an article on the proper way to grow. Wait aminute no Im not.

Lol, cry the noob tears and call me what you want, but you learnt from a book and I learnt from actually growing so whatever, keep smoking those toilets.

No wonder all the really experienced and knowledgable growers quit this place tbh.

To the original poster, how about you flush two plants and leave the other 5 unflushed. Dry and cure them slowly and the same as each other then get some people to blind taste test it.

I bet you can tell them the unflushed ones are flushed and the flushed ones arnt cos people tend to just believe what you tell them.

Wow not only are you wicked smart but you are psychic too. You dont need to get hostile just because you are wrong. I have never read a growing book in my life. I dont come here and profess to have more knowledge than the people that do this for a living. Your problems are way deeper than your false views of your growing ability. Your problems may stem from your childhood but whatever the case I hope for you and the people around you that you seek help. Every statement you have made here is generalized which is an obvious sign of ignorance and false views of what you really are. You need help my friend. I am done with this thread but I want to wish you luck in your future endeavours. You are gonna need all the luck you can get.

I have flushed and still had a poppy snappy smoke. Store it in a jar for a few weeks and burp it every day leave the lid off for a day put the lid on for a day. A soil salt tester will tell you if you need to flush. Ive grown both ways and the only time I had a problem was when I gave high nitrogen in the last two days of chop. my bad

I cant man!

I got 7 different strains, so it wouldnt be a good comparison.

Fuck it, i will just flush em a couple days before.

Hey back to that other question.

I did flush once after vegging but i didnt Ph the flush water. Why? Was that bad or what? Shit, i got 5 gal of soil for each plant. It would be unreal to ph all that flushing water?

I did however add a good amount of Ph'd water with full nutes in it immediately after flushing!

guys guys what doesn;t make sense take away vital food in the last 2 weeks of flower ??? Flush to create a stress when all you want is plant to flower more doesn;t make sense to me sure go ahead and flush to me it dont matter i flushed one time and only one time never will i flush again i chop when plants are still nice and green no stressing and or no yellowing if anything back off a bit in ladt 2 weeks of nutrients but dont stop it thats when plant is packing on weight and you want to flood your soil thus litterally sufocating it from 02

I flush with freash water for the last 3 weeks of flower, i get a nice gray ash, and sweat smoke :)
3 weeks?

How do you do your flush?

Do you just stop adding nutes? Or, do you Flush several gals of water through it and leave it with nothing for 3 weeks?

One final point I'd like to make tho...it's strange how the "flushing" technique is only used by pot growers and not the millions of vegetable and tobacco farmers worldwide...guess they missed the memo or something?
I hate to quote myself, but it's funny that in every one of these threads the toilet growers completely ignore the above point...
