Red liquid "bleeding" from pruning?

I was recently pruning some of my small beauties and noticed a red liquid oozing out where I made my pruning cuts. I was mostly cutting off small growth/ under developed branches , also noticed this when topping some of the same plant.

This did not hinder growth in any way but I found it akward as I've never seen this before. at the time this happened I was in Veg and i was using (fox farm grow big) and (Advanced nutrients mother earth tea) .

Has this ever happened to anyone else !? I mean we all bleed red but , I'm jus sayin !!

that's just the plants juices coming out to form a scab. just like when you get a cut red liquid comes out and then you get a scab while the skin heals.

dunno what to tell you about that. I've heard lots of people say when they top their plant that a red to blackish liquid comes out and forms a scab. maybe you cut a little deeper then you usually do, who knows.

I have never seen the liquid be red but the dried scared area where I top is red or brownish red after the fact not when it's been freshly cut why dont you put up pics to prove this and show it hard to go off just words and without these vids or pics I highly doubt it being red

Bamfrivet, you sound about right . It is a reddish/blackish ooze. It doesn't "bleed" I will correct myself . It did just ooze out a little bit and form a scar/scab. It was a little trippy though I had never seen it !

It's very common cut a branch and look at it like 2 hours later it will be discolored and jelly like then it drys up leaving that brown scar he said it wasn't actually bleeding
agreed, that's pretty freaky. What the hell are you people feeding your plants? :)

Maybe it's common in your room, but I've been doing this indoors for a long time and never seen that. Never heard of it either.

Ok what color is the scar where you cut off a clone or whatever cause its only one of two colors dark brown or brownish red when it heals and that is wet before it dries and heals up leaving that discoloration I've seen it more outdoors than indoors
