Went to the hydro store again today and asked if he had any freebies. This time he tossed me a free 8 ounce of B-52 and a free 8 ounce of VooDoo Juice. :P All I bought was a clone dome/tray and some rockwool. Came out to like 26 bucks and I got about 50 bucks worth of goodies :D I know it's off topic but who doesn't enjoy a freebie. Try it out, PANDA!
i wish i live in michigan...i live in wisconsin. they need more store like you guys over there!

Usually Miracle gro has plenty of nutes. I say you have a Nitrogen overdose. Cal Mag is a nice product, but I don't think that will fix your problem. I would flush the pot really good and watch her recover. I bet you 100 bucks its N overdose. Mag def doesn't cause it to rust like that. It will turn pale then yellow out.
okay ill give it a shot. if the epsom salt technique doesnt work.

Let me say that the nutes that miracle grow put in the soil are gone
and have been gone for a while
I'll take you up on that bet....
Mg deficiency can look a few different ways...depending on its progress

Check out subcools thread on super soil. I'm sold on it after seeing it in action this year. I'm using something like it in everything next grow.

I am shaking your hand on that one! I could be wrong but I am 80% sure I am right since I have used miracle gro soil when I first started. However I know adding some epsom salt will help the uptake of other nutrients and will aid it back to life as well. I believe there is too much Nitrogen that is creating the lockout and making other nutrients unavailable for uptake. Just my opinion. I will still add epsom salt regardless, especially at that stage of flower. Usually Magnesium def doesn't occur until the 4th- 6th week of bloom.

Use ANY soil you want. If it's already got plant food in the soil, just be careful when and how much you put on it. There's nothing wrong with "cheap" soil as long as there's no bugs or fungus in it. Get some Cal-Mag and use it. 5ml per gallon EVERY watering. Even if you use tap, use Cal-Mag anyway. My tap is very low in minerals and requires Cal-Mag supplement or I have problems. Make sure your water is PH'd in the 6 range (it doesn't have to be spot on every time. Just not stupid low or stupid high. Keep it in the 6's and you be fine. Also don't forget to use some sort of chlorine/chloramine remover. My tap has chloromines. Three drops of tap water conditioner and bye bye chloromines. For chlorine water, they say you can just let it sit out, but it's easier and faster just to put a drop of conditioner in it and get on with it IMO.

Good luck.
