looks good.
so oyu run a 600 in the tent and done a few runs now. can i ask what an average yield was and veg time. i just recently did a move and has a large set up..12x11 room. now till im rebuilt at new house im running the 4x4 tent but im pushing 2x600 so curious what i might be looking at in the tent.
thank you, My tent was perpetual for the first few months. I started with 2 plants in there from seed, then every couple weeks I put in a few more plants untill it was full. Each harvest was different size and number of plants. Biggest harvest being 5oz dry off of 3 plants. Smallest was 2 oz off of 2 plants. We had 6 harvests total. I ran into a problem of no where to hang dry the plants. Decided to change my tent to a single harvest so i could hang right in the tent. I am hoping for 14-17 oz dry off of my 15 plant harvest. If I had dual 6's man, I guess I would expect more like 2-3 oz a plant so maybe 30-40 oz?

gspott - they would definitely stretch less

Jdro - looking good mate. do you use RW under those growstones that I cannot see or are they right in the stones?

Putting my babies that just set root thru the RW in the table tommorow. Siked.

How long do you top feed for?

if you had adjustable lights and kept them 6-10" above the plants, do you think they would grow shorter n fatter? i know all plants reach for the light so if the light was closer maybe they will grow fat before growing tall. just a thought
im trying to stretch these out.

thx mang..hard to say if its a bonus with double light as more issues arise with more light to. so more control is needed...heat and so on. last room was running 6x600 lights. got a couple buddies here think im nuts to run 2x600 in a 4x4 tent...working fine so far...lol

No RW, I rooted my clones in a clone machine. Because the tent was not ready for them on time they spent to much time in the cloner and the roots grew between the plastic basket so I didn't want to rip them out, I put them into the grow stones in the plastic basket, but there is only grow stones inside the basket holding them up. Normally, I would not of used a plastic basket, just clones straight into the growstones. Also, no top feeding.

your right I couldnt imagine dealing with the heat if I was running two of these in this tent. Although, now heading into winter I think its manageable. As long as you are in a place that gets cold.

lol...canada...not quite the mythical igloos we live in but ya its cool. running 1 x 6 inch exuast and its only on couple times evcery half hour. holds tempos good so far but im using lesser watt bulbs for now for bit of a veg. so when i swap to hps and more output they will get hotter im sure but think im controllable. have many more fans if i need

I'm flirting with the idea of dual 600w in a 4x4. My temps get to low of 65, sucks cause the high is 78, i mean thats a perfect temp, if steady. Stupid new england weather. This is all with my reflector not exhausting. I'm trying to find that window it reaches 65 at(probably lights off, cant imagine how it'd be if i kept exhausting the room during lights off, probably high 50's) and get a programmable space heater for it. Hopefully my mom light setup will add some more heat to the room.

Yeah I have no choice but to top feed until my roots stretch down being in RW, putting the rockwool 1/2 inch above the flood level because that stuff gets saturated FAST and holds it for a long time, don't want that getting wet.

So what do you just gently hold the plant by its stem and pour growstones around it? I was always curious of how people transported a aero cloned plant into a hydro or soil setup.

Why not just go 1000w instead of 2 600?? Seems it would be alot more economical in many ways. I think my next tent will be 8x4 with 2 3x3 trays powered by 1 1000 on a rail. Then will add another 8x4 to math. Dreams... Yeah i just kinda dumped the stones in while holding the plant by the stem where i wanted it to be. and burried everything. Like I said my clones were in the cloner too long so I had HUGE roots on them, they were burried near the bottom. These plants are tougher little devils than you think. When I use to guerrilla grow in the mountains some plants would be spilled hiking, roots torn off, re planted a couple times on the trail and man, a couple weeks later they would be the tallest plant there. I can already see a ton of root growth out of the pots into the flood trays. They are happy girls. I just will wait until my roots are long enough to reach the water level in my flood tray when I put the clones in there.

If you have 2 600's you always have the option of getting another table and using that. Bigger footprint in the sense you could space em out. More lumens per wattage. 600's are cooler to run than a 1000.

I've heard bad things about light movers. Not as good as light just there all the time and 2 600's over each tray(EDIT* sorry i meant 1 over each tray 2 all together) would work better in your 8x4. One 1k would struggle in there.

I'm very new(2 months into growing, very eager to learn, so I'm not too sure on how strong they are) I baby em :(

it definitely wouldn't be easier to cool 2 600 over 1 1000, I have seen light movers in action. I remember a thread about 2 600 vs 1000, when I'm on my computer I'll try to find.

New pics. Amazing growth on a daily basis. Roots invading the flood tray. Sunday going to full bloom nutes. Going to start changing reservoir every week instead of every other due to rapid drinking of water by the plants. I was debating whether or not to tri m off all small under growth or outside nodes. I plan on using all trim and popcorn buds for oil so I am kind of leaning towards just leaving everything on there and using it all. What is your opinion. Trim now, or save and use for oil?

looks like the tall girl who was reaching up and touching the glass has some heat stress. check it out. what do you think? Other pic is a normal looking top.
