Nearing week 4 of flowering

Cleared out the lower "popcorn" branches, since im only rocking a 150 hps i wanted the main buds to get as much energy as i can, sure ill end up with same amount of yield, but what buds are there will be bigger/tighter

Did you veg it with a HPS as well? I was considering doing this on a new grow and was wondering if it works as well as using a MH to veg with.

nice looking plant and buds. have to wonder though looking at your pics why you arent just growing that girl outdoors every chance you get. that would eliminate any popcorn buds. you could bring it in at night to make it flower, on days that u werent sure if u would be there to bring it in to keep its light cycle accurate u could just leave it under the light for the whole day. the suns gotta beat the 150 plus u would save on energy. i guess its a higher risk of theft and pests. anyway im sure you have thought of it just wondering why not i guess?

hi iamaaror, i havnt got a great deal of experience but i am veging under hps right now and my girls are fat and tight with very minimal node spacing. they will grow fine under hps. from what i understand they will grow better in veg with the mh eg, tighter nodes etc because of the blue spectrum but for flower they are going to grow better under hps brcause of more red spectrum so the way i look at it to me flower is way more important and rather than have to fork out for 2 globes im going with hps all the way through. works a treat anyway. i must admit though i did go with a phillips son-t agro bulb which have added blue spectrum to even them out and make them sort of like the best of both worlds.
