Conversion should work fine
I've used them in my 600 digital and had great results. If your temps are fine with the HPS the MH will run cooler so no worries there.

Some aus hydro shop have some nice cfl's which are great for vegging, plus you can get them closer to the plant because the emit ALOT less heat. Alot cheaper than hps too, which you dont need for vegging.. but the 600w hps would still work for vegging nonetheless.

bunnings sell T5 set-ups (ballast and mounts). Buy a few and attach them to a board and daisy chain them, youll also need to wire it up, ive used a chord off an old heater.
Ive only found T5s useful up to a foot height wise then lower growth starts to suffer. Makes really nice stout green plants, you can keep the lights right on top of them because they run nice and cool.
i use a 400hps for vegging and mothers, kills it

anyone had some bad shit like this recently? can strains really taste this bad..
doesnt have a very strong smell, kind of a hay/damp spicey smell, but its dried out and very dark, hairs look alot more red in real life.
I usually smoke with a bit of bacci but i tried this without to see what it tasted like and it literally tastes like ash, or dregs even! So I had to find more.. so bad.

bro the last lot of stuff i got from a friend of a friend tasted like dirty tea towel, so rank on the exhale and i needed to punch so many to get a buzz, terrible.

They have 4 and 8 bulb setups here in the states with reflectors that work tits. Sunleaves is the brand I use but there are others like The Badboy etc. I have 4' x 8 bulb and a 4' by 4 bulb and I love'em. The 8 bulb is about 415 watts total power. I wouldn't see any reason to veg past 18-24 inches anyways unless you're daisy chaining 1000 watt bulbs for flower or some shit. I'm a big super cropper and love to train my plants so I can make a kickass canopy with T5's.
Low heat is a godsend for me because I use boxes enclosed in a small area.
hi pal. Amen on the heat,. i attached 4 mounts onto a board, made for 8 4ft lights though i cant remember the total watts im sure it was much less then your set-up. I dont know if we have T5 set-ups in growshops here, though i have seen cloning station with floros by Ablite., Online aquarium shops ive seen them stock T5 and T5 HO (high output) gear.

been smoking my autumn outdoor during the day for the last week, great daytime herb, can get absolutley high while going about work functional. its also very tasty, i did keep a cut of this. Seems worth another run. i did actually put her into indoor rotation but she went funky (re-vegd) due to being outside. Shes got some good growth now so ill take a couple clones next wk and see what she will do indo.

Hi all,
Doing a pretty good job this week of sampling EVERYTHING Amsterdam has to offer, both on and off the cup tour and loving it. So far we have visited probably 20 coffee shops and tried 1 or 2 of each of their strains, don't worry we are keeping tabs and I will post our dozens of smoke reports later as well as info about the different shops themselves.
Firstly though let me mention the dutch flowers incident! We were visiting the much renowned Dutch Flowers coffeeshop after a long day of smoking shitloads of weed and it was a place I had been looking forward to seeing for weeks. The guy behind the counter didn't seem overly friendly from the beginning but we quietly perused the weed menu and my friend made a purchase.
Despite not really feeling the vibe, it was a nice place so we grabbed some papers and decided to stop for a spliff. I was a bit baked already and couldn't see it on the menu so I asked the guy if he sold coka cola and mimed the drink motion subconsciously as it was crowded and a little loud.
He proceeded to get his knickers in a twist and called me rude, then asked me how many, stunned I said "two please" and he brought them over ranting about how he "does speak english" (a fact I was aware of and gratefull for) and that I was rude to him. I said "I thought I was plenty polite, Im sorry" to which he replied, "you don't need to be sorry" well then whats the problem?
All up he just seemed to be a pissed off douche who didn't like foreigners and harshed my whole day. Buddy if you read this I'm still sorry for offending you on the day but not if this offends you. You are in he wrong job if you can't deal with stoners or tourists and I have managed to interact with hundreds of Dutch people since being here without offending them so unbunch your panties, get off your high horse and come have a spliff with me, I'll be at the Rokerij where the people are cool and the vibe is mellow!

great story!! Mate remember that we can only be responsible for our own behaviour, not that of others, take a deep puff and be very proud of yourself that you handled the situation like a peaceful person should. im sure that guy regrets acting like he did, sometimes im guilty myself of acting innappropiatley but i just get back on the peace horse and keep riding brother! Mistakes are only mistakes if we dont learn from them. You certainly handled it right.

i dont really have any photos myself of his strain but i know his got plenty i'll need to ask him, i was looking through family photo album not long ago and i was suprised our whole backyard use to be full of plants even our Christmas tree was a monster plant with huge heads, i didn't relize any of this untill i saw the photos i was a little kid at time.
i have 3 photos on my computer from last year but we planted our seeds really late they didn't have much time to grow and my dad only grew 1 plant

yeah i have a few of his seeds in my garden atm alot of his seeds didn't sprout there really old but his got 1000's seeds. i've been topping his plants though since they grow alot taller then our fences and we have been ripped before. i think its time to
