Hey growers! Can someone help me out here please? My whole plant is looking great, I was just confused on why some pistils on ONE bud are turning color and look like there shriveling up? Why is this happening? Doesn't seem normal to happen on just one bud.. thanks for your help RIU!

Some hairs just start drying faster than others... It must be in a particularly dry or windy or warm location.

It could be that that one bud is just close enough to your lamp to be on the edge of overheating. What lights, how close? cn

Its fine, sometimes a leaf hitting a bud will do this, some other causes too, but nothing to worry about.
Thanks man! I think you sound right, before I took these pics there was a big fan leaf covering the bud. And im pretty sure it was touching. Thanks for the help!

yes, fan will just make for strong plants, if this is all the damage you have, no big deal at all, the bud won't even suffer.
but oscillating is key bam is right.

I'd say that you dont have to start worrying unless you see that a majority of them are changing. Sometimes i notice with mine some of the first hairs that appear turn way before the rest. Also depending on how far into flower you are helps to figure out, later in not bad early in raise concern.

if it's not oscillating then I would move it. You don't want direct wind blowing on your buds for a long amount of time.
Should I get rid of my fan until I get one that oscilates? Or should I leave it until I get a new one ill try to get one asap

I would just move it to a spot that doesn't blow directly on any plants if possible, but still blows air around the room.
