By the time the clones have shown sex your plants are going to be huge. You'll have to run them one at a time at that point - or make more boxes :)

i have another box, roughly same size. i was thinkin of turning it into a clone box where i can train another to go into the SCROG and set up a 2 month harvest.....who knows:dunce:

also thinking if i can sex early and get a good ratio of females maybe a SOG setup would be more benificial and just flip em as soon as i find out.

Personally this is what I would recommend. You have such a small canopy that SOG should be more efficient and it makes it much easier to rotate plants into flower.

that is if the female to male ratio is good, if i have only 1 female then the SCROG may give me a higher yeild....

Scrog might give you a better yield the 1st go if you have a low plant count but it means that you wont be able to start a perpetual till the first grow has ended. Might think of doing a simple LST on the first plant - basically the same results as a scrog but much more flexible and it would allow you to add a couple plants later on into flower to start your perpetual in motion.

thats why i need to know how early i can clone and sex these seedlings, so if favors are with me i can do a diff setup. im hoping at least 1 is female out of 4 thus the SCROG seems a better idea. BUT if i sex them (startung next weds) i can get a better idea of what im working with if all 4 are female then SOG would be by far my best option as i dont have to change anything except the timer :)

yeah well i plan on LST ing while i sex the clones, keeping all 4 main plants in vegg, depending on how many females my tests result will depend on wich setup. but i see where your coming from, if i scrog its going to be a harder transition. if i do i will run SOG and clone from this plant, haha now ypu got me thinking :dunce:

Hey guys, heres a pic update,, they are looking good for the most part but i think i have a slight problem if anyone can let me know what it is i would appreciate it :)

pic 1: my choice of poison for the night (and of course some :leaf: )

the fourth and last pic are the 2 that seem to be having an issue, im thinking its nute burn, havent fed them anything but i did give a good soak after i transplanted, may have released too much nutes, other than that they have nice healthy looking new growth so im not too concerned.

also had a problem with my light bulbs, i ordered them wednesday morning and by 2:00 pm today i had no e mail telling me my order had been shipped, yesterday being a holliday i figured that may have something to do with it but i went ahead and called 1000bulbs.com and apparently they were out of stock of my bulb until 12/6/11 so i went ahead and got a similar bulb same wattage and Kelvin rating just a spiral instead of the straight tube. these bulbs were a few ¢ more than the one i ordered but they gave them to me at same price and i actually am getting 105 more lumen from the new bulb (60 Lumen per watt opposed to original bulb that was 59 Lumen per watt) customer service was really nice to me and they said i should have my bulbs buy end of next week.

im really hoping once i put another 210w in the cab (12,600 lumens) my plants will show a significant growth spurt.

anyways if anyone can identify the issue with my seedlings i would appreciate it. if its nute burn then i should be fine as i dont plan on watering for another week at least.

oh and that last pic is one of the plants i tried to top.....thought i worked well but looks like i just screwed up the leaves lol, dosent seem to be slowing that little one down any, seems to be keeping up with the rest no problemo.

its soil from this summers grow...just reg potting soil (not miracle grow) i grew my summer outdoor in it and rehashed the soile. mixed it with about 1/4 MG perilite (nute enhanced) and 1/ MG peat moss (nute enhanced)

i really think after the good dousing after transplant i released too much and burnt them but want a seconf opinion

I have always used Fox Farms Ocean Forest and then let them be lol ;) I say just let them keep going for now I don't really know if it was any sort of nute burn, but if it was it will work itself out just let it keep growing and only give em ro water!!!!!!!

meh i give em tap water. they aint getting any water for a while anyways, big pot fully watered probally a week and a half before i have to water again but when u transplant you have to water em down or roots dont get settlled

theres nothing wrong with miracle grow(its what i use)
others might not agree but i think u should have waited till now to transplant, the older the plant is the stronger it is.

yeah i like MG soil, it just can be too "hot" for small plants....so they say and i think i just proved :)

Even though I use 50/50 FF Ocean Forest & Happy Frog with an extra 30% perlite mixed in, SeeMoreBuds used MG w/CFL's and got 8oz off 3 girls, 2 were clones, and the Mango seedling outgrew both clones. I've seen some people do great things with MG, so I'm not knocking it; just never used it.
