Ballast Question...

Right I think I'm being stupid my ballast says:
Compact
Power Pack
400w Sodium/halide
Maxiberight


Does this mean I can put both MH and HPS bulb in it? Wanted to double check before doing it.

I would say yes why on earth would it say sodium/halide if you couldnt

It is magnetic but like ca$hcropper said. Why would it say it if it can't? Maybe 400w dual spectrum hps instead?

yes they do. i had one and they take both bulbs.the ballast do get hot tho and it will turn itself off if it gets to hot.to stop this i had to blow a fan at mine when it was on.

I havent had any issues with ballast so far. Does get hot but its close to a open window outside the grow room so no issues touch wood. I do want a digital one when finances allow for it. Got to make some money back on my investment first lol. (no im not a shitty dealer trying to help my parents out)
