How is the happy frog for mixing i currently am using sunshine advance mix 4. My local shop has the happy frog they just never have enough to actually buy a long term supply of it and i really hate going in there more than i have to.

Happy frog has bark or mulch in it. only complant. it is a nice rich organic soil. nether works great by its self, but you mix the two they work nicly

Need some guidance here: I have 3 Afgani's and 1 California Skunk Sativa...all flowering already and bottom leaves are turning yellow in the Sativa and 1 Indica (my 2 favorites too). PH is good, normal leaf aging its possible, no cold drafts, no overwater, no lack of light (400watt Hps 4x4x8) and no viral infection. Nutrient deficiency YES. Now to tell which one it is...it's a big puzzle. My conclusion was a lack of one of these K,S,Mn,C,B,Fe,N,Ca,Mg,P.
This is the bad part....I gave the 2 plants 1 pill each of B1,Calcium, Magnesium(all in one) and a small dose 1/2 TSP of grow big for Nitrogen and mixed it with rain water room temp and fed them. Then I have realized that I might fucked up. Luckily it really wasn't a strong dose and used 1 pint of mix for each of the 2 plants. The sativa is in a 3 glln bucket and the Afgani is in a 4 gallon bucket, what gave me a sign of fuckin' up was the fact that soon as I poured the water in their buckets my sweet bud aroma went away almost immediately and got like an earthy smell, Any input on this? THX.

It seems to be about the same as bud candy but with added sulfer. Let me know if you try it and how it goes. I honestly dont know if bud candy does much for my plants but they always look happy so i dont even question.

Here is a pic 30 days into flowering in my over crowded tent. youll have to excuse the mess its a long story im waiting for a bigger tent to get a second 600 up.

haha! when you get a bigger tent it'll be somewhat crowded again don't lie!
well I wasn't worried about sweet as a nutrient it's obviously no use as a nutrient(or necessary!). however it is supposed to make sweeter "fruit". when you use bud candy vs. not, how does the taste of the yield if any differ? that's what I meant let me be more specific. of course curing has alot to do so really we could have different results in all honesty.even if we both had bud candy. mine could be awesome and yours not or vice versa! BUT! gimme some variations though, does it hit your throat with a bit of a scratch, is it smooth, does it taste funny, does it taste so awesome that you continue to use it? sweet is best used throughout veg/transition phase/flower. so why would I want to use it? personally im not using it but we talked our friend into growing. so since I have done the most research I kinda rob peter to pay paul for info to help the pauper haha!

I've used sweet (original berry usually, but have tried citrus and grape in some trial runs--original berry and grape stood out most for flavor). sweet isn't just for flavor though, it helps keep a regular metabolism for the plant, ultimately leading it to absorb the nutrients easier/quicker. and this helps out with photosynthesis. I use it with coco coir and mostly botanicare supplements (I substitute Pro-tekt in for silica blast and nirvana in for liquid karma). sorry i can't attest for sweet usage with FF nutes. but pure blend has a lot of organic elements to it and sweet goes along nicely....

ahhhhhh!! BUT.... Now I'm torn ugghh!!!:wall: If sweet isn't just flavor... Then what is fulvic acid for? It contains lots of mycorrhizae and beneficial microbes to help the soil make nutrients more available so... you think sweet is the same thing plus some carbs? in the weight room carbs are sugars so...what you think? extra fuel or just sweet alone? or maybe a one-two counter type punch?

by the way thanks for the response. glad you could help! you rock!
