i just refuse to pay the prices for fox farms. if i cared about being organic (FF is organic soil amirite?) i might pay it but its about 4-5 times more than a normal bag of potting soil.

i dont preach MG products like they are the best out there just simply say that i use them and dont have any problems with thier products. i dont get why everyone does hate on them but hey to hit thier own i guess.

my mg seedlings are always huge, i don't want to brag but i haven't seen anyone with better, younger seedlings.
i live in Canada and i can't get ff or i would try it.

hey guys. things are going good. got a nute burn issue that my seedlings are trying to overcome. just waiting it out and trying to let my soil dry out a little bit. all the new growth is healthy looking but i think the burn slowed down growth just a bit.

im day 14 right now and cant help but feel i should be a little further along but i also dont think im behind at all either.

im having an issue with my timer right now its one of them timers with the pins you pull up when you want the lights on and it sucks. it works but the pins are constantly getting pushed back down on accident. im going to try and move it to a new wall outlet that is not in the way of my box so moving the box dosent disturb the timer. if that dosent work im going to chuck it and go digital

heres a quick pic. not much different than the last pic tho. fucking nute burn. gargh!! the messed up thing is im not even using MG soil its soil i had my summer plants planted in wich should have used up all the nutes. the only MG product i have is a small bag of perilite and peat moss that i mixed in the the re hashed soil.

on a side note im a little aggitated with 1000bulbs.com who still have not managed to ship my order that i placed on Wednesday. yes i understand its a holliday weekend and all but as a buisness they should have had my order shipped same day or next day, i mean for christ sakes its 2 fucking light bulbs. anyways i will not order from them ever again.

i will say this. i called them on friday and they told me that they were out of stock of the light i did order and sorted me out relativly fast. my only issue with this is no one ever contacted me to tell me that the bulb i ordered was not in stock and would not be available till dec 6th....really i mean WTF your going to just not ship my order for almost 2 weeks without a e mail or anything explaining why? really poor management from this company.

with all that being said, if you want to run a online based buisness shipping should be prompt and if items are out of stock this information should be available to the customers and not let them order something and wait weeks to have it shipped then another week for it to be delivered. i can probally order something overseas and get my item faster.

nope just going to wait at this point im really hoping they are here by friday as i would like to get them into my cab. i think my seedlings will grow much faster with another 210w of light in there

i tried moving the lights up a bit more thinking maybe its a heat issue. but probally not.

on a side not i started another grow. tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers. just waiting on the bell peppers to sprout then i am going to try and do soemthing like this


the red line is tomatoe the green line is LST cucumber plant and the blue line is a bell pepper plant.

hey man, your more than welcome here but i like to keep a posotive atmosphere and telling someone his shit isnt special is just un called for. if you want to join on on convorsations and post your opinions in a respectable friendly manner than you are welcome to. if you dont then i would just appreciate it if you took it elswhere, that being said. nice to have you i was thinking the same thing about leaving them alone just not sure what to do i want this problem resolved.

as far as over watered i havent watered them in days (since i transplanted from solo cup) when i tranplanted i believe your supposed to water them so i gave them all a really good watering to settle them in thier new home. i dont plan on watering again for at least another week once they dry out really good i will begin watering every day with 1/2 cup of water to maintain that dry stage yet give them water and nutes daily. (the nutes will come from the MG products in the soil that release nutes upon watering. i will not feed them any food with thier water untill i see signs that they need it.

i moved my timer so i can get some good pics now, let me go ahead and take some and upload them. they are defo getting worse and the burn is starting to spread to the next tier of leaves.

oh and temps are around 85f with lights on probally get down to 70 with lights out

85 is on the edge i hope winter is on the way where u live.............u should really just water them the way your supposed to and next time dont transplant so soon your wasting a lot of soil..............

im going to get the fan setup in there today, i left it out because i wanted to keep the heat in a bit as my house is fairly cold right now (arounf 66-68f) yes winter is well upon us here have already had 2 ft of snowfall

im hoping they are all female and i can run the SOG setup so if that happens they are in thier final planters, and im not really woried about wasting soil as its pretty cheap and my last grow my pants got rootbound and i dont want that to happen again. i do agree i should have left them in the solo cups for another week but no going back now.

in pic #2 the yellowing on the outside of the leaves, im not sure what that is.

i think im going to flip them to 12/12 this weekend. i was contemplating cloning for sex but im not sure if thats a great idea. im out of bud and by the time i harvest off these i will have some fem seeds on the way and wont have to worry about having males in the group. then im going to set up a mini SOG perpetual with my current box being the flower room and make a clone box/vegg room and try and harvest 1 plant every 2 weeks. like i said above this is just personal stash so i am not in it for high yeild just good bud that will keep me going without having to pay the redicules prices around here.

ugg and hate to keep complaining but my godam bulbs havent been shipped yet and im about to call them again and say WTF, tell them they need to give me the 40$ bulbs at no additional charge.

i want these bulbs installed asap, and i wont even think about swithing to 12/12 untill they get here

so ....... im gonna be a dick again then i will leave..........they were too wet in the solo cups then u gave em nutes too soon then u transplanted unhealthy plants way too soon ........ and into mud...........no fan .......its more what u have done wrong than whats wrong w your plants.........its not just about wasting soil its about wasting space where roots could be ........ i honestly believe if u were to leave em alone just let em grow awhile they would come around ........
