Oh yeah man, I've had some look MUCH worse and pull through......as long as she has some green, she's still alive!

Go to walmart in the sporting goods section and find you an emergency blanket (Made out of mylar) Basically it's just a giant sheet of mylar for $3-$4 √

thats what im sayin!! she has green!! and dang I was just at walmart! haha ill go again tomorrow is there a chart or somewhere that shows the time length of grow stages? like when is a seedling considered in veg stage? how long is veg stage? this plant i have has had lights on 24/7 for the last 3.5-4 weeks...when should I change cycles to 12/12? the plant is not even 5 inches tall


nvrmind! i found what i was looking for, its up to me when to take the plant out of veg stage(4-8wks), and is considered veg once the seed roots

i never did like rockwool..at one time and possibly still is a main ingredient for some insulation.

I am always game for trying new mediums as long as its not Rockwool....

Coming from someone who's wasted too much time and space and ultimately money on males.. yeah.. feminized seeds is where it's at.

I dont mind a good healthy stud to collect pollen from.....provided you have the room. I am crossing all these plants that are in the Coffee Cans, stocking up on beans. What type of Fem seeds you got right now?

Well, a couple others are trying out their X Nutes for this grow so I might as well go for it. Heres what I'll be using. I'll also be using 2 parts FFOF, 2 parts Pro-Mix, 1 part perlite (not pictured).

Fuck yeah silus!!!! Have you used the B-52 before? I have and I liked it. Shit looks like Iodine...but it works great! The X Nutrients are easy and my plants love it. I have Cal/Mg supplement and I have not had to use it yet. Seems like the X Nutes have a good source of cal/mag in them....plus they keep my roots white and shinny!!!!

Psy and I have been going over some details about the Coffee Can Grow, we will be starting a thread for the Coffee Can Grow Contest so stay tune for the link and details....

How are the winners going to be indentified? Biggest Yield? Dankiest Buds? Crazy Grow? Any input would be helpful....we are going to have 2 divisions (1 seeds)(1 clones) and winners from both or one overall??

Keep running into issues with this experiment. My cab sits on the floor and is big to raise. That leaves me with raising the pots and losing grow room or running a shallow reservoir with large foot print. The issues the first solution causes is obvious. The problem with the second runs into aireation and pumping from such shallow water and hoping it doesn't suck in air. Looks like I'll drop a seed and enter Co o hempy coffee can this contest

XNutes? how do they compare to the GH Flora series? which is better? also how about the floranova series? its only 2 bottles, im for trying whatever....im currently using GH flora micro,grow,bloom....its a DWC grow ...i read a post above about using FFOF and promix.....but thats for soil and were talking water and air bubbles here....is it easier to grow in soil vs soiless?

You can grow in soil for the contest.....There is nothing wrong with GH or Floranova. I just like the X Nutes cause I have seen the results from them and been wanting to try them. I used Fox Farm Lineup but I dont like them in hydro. I use those in soil. Just my preference and nothing more

IMHO the X-nutes will blow GH out of the water any day, but thats just me.

I have used several different lineups, and none of them have come close to the potency i get from the X.

Not to mention at $31 a gal, that is some inexpensive product

WOW ! man i would love to burn a nug of that! lol...anyhoo my PPM meter arrive today in the mail, I did a base reading on our city tap water.....500 ppm!!! dont know if thats good...I did a base line on distilled water, and thats 0..i added my nutes to the distilled and brought it up to 245PPM....need help on this one guys.....i checked my res and the PPM of that is 324...so from 245 base w/ added nutes....and now its 324ppm after 1.5 days...how do I adjust accordingly? if its that high does that mean I dilute or add more nutes??? i have no idea wth im doing when it comes to this meter.....how do i figure this contraption..i read I probably wont ever use it aslong as I stay within the proper dosages of nutes at the right stages...?

What type of Fem seeds you got right now?

I'm running Big Buddha Seeds - Bubble Cheese fem'd, no problems from germination to seedling stage, but they're only a week or so old now. Last grow both of my plants were male, and I wasted a month and a half.. made me go exclusively to fems.

If you are ever going to use tap water, make sure you let it sit out for at least 24 hours prior to doing anything with it. Now thats if you are going to use tap for hydro grows. I have used tap water on my 1st ever DWC grow and never had a problem at all. I prefer Distilled in DWC but you can use tap, just let it sit out!

oh yea i was not going to mix the 2, i was just saying that the tap water is 500+ppm, thats crazy..it seems all i would need to do is PH it down.. check out my new setup...bought the mylar today and the light fixture..theres 6x 23wat CFLs...man but the heat they are producing is crazy..i bought one of those uhaul closet boxes, and inside that bad boy the temp is almost 86F..i poked vent holes all over and have a fun running in there tucked in the corner, I also bought an all black 5 gallon tub (not pictured) that i might drop those 2 plants in....my autojack herrer is coming alive!! shes on the right, on the left is a random hydro seed from a bag..heres my first grow box, lol i got yelled at for breakin lamps

whewww my plants DID NOT like the extra 3 26xwatt(100) CFLs......leaves turned yellow fast heat stress....so i bought 18w(75) CFLS, im using 4 of them and two 26w.......see how that goes...im not yet ready to purchase an HPS/MH setup...is my lighting enough for my two plants? should i just run all 6 of the 26w and raise my light about foot from the plant tops? or is this too much..

thanks man! I actually got the idea from another grower on this site, cant recall their name.. it was a journal I was reading, but man your setup is awesome as well! what is the watts on those CFLS? those LED grow panels, can you run those with the CFLS on, or is it one or the other? track is def dope! my plant is a little small maybe 5 inches after a month of grow..a friend said I can trick it into sexing so I dont waste time? how Do i go about this? 12/12 for a couple days? look at these before and after pics of my roots when I thought its life was over....this was tap to distilled water, nute adjustments, ph and PPM checks every day..lol must say reading and your guys help has definetly helped me!

oh i picked up some seeds from singleseed. bought females blueberry gum and iced grapefruit(replacement)

Hey Mike, do you have any Peroxide? the 3% kind, if so you can spray some on the roots and it will help, your doing good and just keep trying to rinse the roots free of the slime....Your doing good man keep it up and in no time you will be growing some serious plants!
