Please Give examples mr radicalThe problem, of course, is when this all knowing, all seeing, bloated government starts making companies care about things they shouldn't have to care about. Always ends badly.

Why do you feel the need to paste derogatory slurs on those you disagree with? Please Give examples mr radical
Really? I don't really need to C&P a bunch of recent news articles from Europe, do I? Cuba ring a bell...Eastern Europe perhaps, how about the USSR. You're a big boy, and we KNOW you can use google...I have neither the interest nor the inclination to C&P the failed history of facism, socialism and communism, which if course are the inevitable conclusions of ever growing government. When the fuck did pot smoking hippies start calling for more power to be bestowed on the government anyways? The world is upside, fucking down. You guys rail on and on about the power and jackbooted thuggery of cops, then in the same breath want to give more power to their masters, it's criminally hypocritical. Please Give examples mr radical
wanting the government to not be in bed with the people they are supposedly regulating is not asking for a police state on the people, that is your false assumption.Really? Which has what to do with Big GOverment?Really? I don't really need to C&P a bunch of recent news articles from Europe, do I? Cuba ring a bell...Eastern Europe perhaps, how about the USSR. And MSNBC viewers have their heads up their asses and cheer and support policies that will result our mutual destruction. Isn't it fun to categorize people with inane comments and observations backed by nothing other than our opposing views, because we think their are more people on RIU that support our views than our opponents? Stupidity sure is fun.wanting the government to not be in bed with the people they are supposedly regulating is not asking for a police state on the people, that is your false assumption.
it is as simple minded as boneheadbob's silly little false trichotomy.
if you'd notice, the BP oil spill would have been prevented if the regulations that were already in place had simply been enforced, it requires no growing of government whatsoever.
but do go on with your tired old "fear the big government" mantra. fox news worshippers really seem to know nothing else.
First time on RIU, I've ever been asked to quote myself. Thank you.Which has what to do with Big GOverment?
facism, socialism and communism, which if course are the inevitable conclusions of ever growing government
So your Dream is no GovermentFirst time on RIU, I've ever been asked to quote myself. Thank you.
then why go on a sheepish rant about "fear the big bad government"?... if the BP oil spill was due to existing laws and regulations not being enforced, and the problem wasn't related to the size, too big or too small, of the government...
you might check the OP for an answer theresince I didn't mention the BP oil spill, didn't reference it in my post, and it doesn't invalidate my argument... why bring it up?
Because I was responding to Dukes assertion of 3 types of companies. Then after his reply, I posted in response to that. We were on a bit of a tangent that was still within the parameters of the thread, but NOT specifically addressing it. That tends to happen on here a bit, yes? Of course anyone can feel free to interject, but you might want to actually follow along if you're going to comment.then why go on a sheepish rant about "fear the big bad government"?
you might check the OP for an answer there
No, I've been fairly clear all along. I'm for a restrained, very limited federal government. I tend to agree with that whole states rights thing. So your Dream is no Goverment
WELL THEN YOU NEED TO MOVE TO SOMALIA!
4 to 1? it should be a slamdunk for you guys then! maybe get out and vote more often? No, I've been fairly clear all along. I'm for a restrained, very limited federal government. I tend to agree with that whole states rights thing.
And if you're asserting that those who want the USA to follow the intent of the Constitution, need to leave, brother we outnumber you 4-1, if anyone is leaving...it'll be you. There's already a paradise running just like what you want here, it's Europe. And it's doing remarkably well, you'd love it. I think we'll go ahead and keep our country as it was intended.
We Did have a private agency investigate Enron. Its called an Auditor and the Company was Called Arthur Anderson. Ever Heard of it? They are out of Business. Thats how the Free market and Ron pauls Wet Dream works. Unfortunatly everyone that got screwed by Enron Didnt get shitIf government oversight is the solution to all problems why not have a government camera in every house and a government agent to follow every civilian around for life just to make sure nothing bad happens? Since the Government regulates forest fires, how come we have them? Can't the government outlaw lightning? They Can!! But they can't stop the lightning from starting a forest on fire. Just like the government makes it illegal to spill oil, but shit happens anyway.
Perhaps if we had a PRIVATE agency that inspected things we would not have had that problem, perhaps if a PRIVATE agency had investigated Enron, perhaps if a PRIVATE agency followed up on the greatest theft ever perpetrated in the history of the world you might actually see someone other than Bernie Madoff pay for it.
I can point you to so many polls, it boggles the mind that you don't know the number by heart. People/Voters that identify themselves as "liberal" is ALWAYS in the 20-25% range. And its these hardcore "liberals" that want massive government expansion and intrusion with the ultimate goal being European-style socialism, which they openly admit.4 to 1? it should be a slamdunk for you guys then! maybe get out and vote more often?
LOL!
i think you are mistaking the intent of the constitution with the intent of the articles of confederation, by the way.
i am still laughing at your 4 to 1 assertion (completely unfounded).
Dead on Coals, no question we have to completely end this farce.Theres no money for Government. We must accpet this and react accordingly or have the realities of this forced upon us against our will. We have given away all of our money, plus an extra 15 trillion dollars. We have to do a controled demo and complete rebuild. Its the only way I am afraid.
$115 trillion IS REALITY, it isn't a myth or a delusion, it's fact. But, like most liberals when faced with facts, you try to marginalize your opponent rather than addressing the argument.Doom gloom governments bad Ron Paul
Most of america think you and Ron Paul are nuts
Face reality
