Ok So I have my card and still have yet to use it. I'm thinking of doing an outdoor grow. At what time of year do I plant my seed outside? Is the sun out here to much? If I could keep the soil temp down with misters under the plant instead of over it would that work. I've done an indoor grow but wanna do an outdoor grow. And tips for our type of climent

Don't overthink growing a weed outside. Just use good a soil amendment and if you hurt your plant, you suck. lol. The only issue you should have growing outside is direct sunlight all day, and even a small light screen will do. Of course, flowering outside will be very late in the year without autos (like starting in October), and there will also be the heat. It should be OK though.

If you need more than one harvest a year, then some indoor growing is required. I use about an ounce every 3 months. Not an extraordinarily large amount. However, I have found that a supply only holds it's effect for about 6 to 12 months. Therefore, I need more than one grow a year.

Basically, learn to grow indoors. No one can take your outside grow that way.

This is a great place to grow outdoors. Find a spot that has about 8 hours of direct sunlight and the rest is non-direct sunlight.

That said, AZ has some cold spots too.

What are you guys talking about? You need the days to be at least 12+ hours long to veg...12 hour is when she starts to flower.
Check your hemisphere daylight schedule. Google it.

I had an old boss that would grow outdoor in phx in the winter. 12/12 straight from seed. Always get solid, purple nugs, but no quantity

My neighbor planted a few seeds out back in Mid October. They are doing pretty well right now about 4" tall with some OK growth, but nothing like indoor. I just wanted to see if it could be done 12/12 from seed in the Winter here in PHX. IVIars is right though in that there won't be any yield at all b/c it will be small.

First and formost you have to have 10 foot walls and an 1 inch thick door to grow outside here with in the law.
I would start non autos in may-june somewhere. I have grown bag seeds outdoors before always sprout around august. No effort I get 1-1 1/2 zone per plant.

See I was thinking about starting the seed in Aug and with the cooler weather around the corner. She should start to Flower in November but the frost of Jan kind of makes me think it won't work. Well See.

I had a seed this year popped late sep. Died a few days ago from the cold. I was covering her even but the cold was too much. You need to harvest by mid nov.
girls will flower starting in august if my memory serves.

if you grow in the summer here , a great tip is plant in a spot that it will get the early direct sun and the later in the day be protected from the hotter harsher rays. like the east side of a building or home is a perfect example. if u either start them later or inside then transplant them the should be good through most of the early winter, you can always cover them to protect them from frost when the time comes with plastics, heating pads and such...

Guess it depends on where you are in AZ and the strain too. There are a few different climates in this state. Don't forget that you can always start it indoors in the middle of summer and move it outside to finish.
